It was like seeing a ghost the kind you see in movies

Nova ? He asked in a shocked tone

Legend how? What? Why ? I was lost for words I was shocked  but most of all I was angry how could he just up and leave his daughter and I ?

" look nova I know I have a lot of explaining to do and I promise when I do this will all make sense-" I cut him off

Make sense ?!? No this will never make sense you left me! No you know what fuck me you left Liberty you daughter ! For what ? For who ? It's not making sense

" look I got something I gotta take care of right now so I can't explain everything right now but I promise I will explain everything soon "

Deep down I missed legend I was so depressed for a long time after I lost him and I was sad for Liberty because I didn't have a mom and a dad together in one house , eating family meals, talking about our day , telling each other we loved them and I've always wanted that for my children and just thinking that Libby could've had it all this time pisses me off

I walked in jayla's house her and drew were obviously doing rated R things so I just laid on the couch thinking about legend and trying to process this whole situation I eventually dosed off and fell into a deep sleep

           The next morning

Nova !! You want some breakfast ? I heard jayla yell from the kitchen

Yassss you already know a Bitch hungry jayla knew what I went through at home with my mom and step dad so when Libby and I stayed over she treated us like royalty

When I walked into the kitchen jayla was smiling ear to ear

Hmmm someone had a good night last night you damn near woke my baby up doing all that screaming we both bust out laughing

" bitch his dick game on fleek " she put a pancake on my plate then went back to flipping the sausages

On my daughter he claimed he had a good explanation about everything but he was In a rush so he couldn't do it but I doubt I'll hear from him again he's been gone for  this long i don't know why'd he come around

" you never know nova he could have a good explanation for all this I mean i know niggas Leave there kids and there baby moms everyday but it doesn't seem like legend would do that to you like he was in love with you y'all spent every second together and when you got pregnant he told me he was going to propose to you bc he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you and his unborn child just think about it nova there has to be a reason he just up and left with no explanation "

I hung my head because jayla was right we were so happy together I heard Libby start to cry so I cleaned my plate and went to get her it was so weird how much she looked like her daddy
