As the days went by, Tom would text Alice to break a leg while she was in the theater getting ready for the show. She appreciated the gesture and loved that he was warming up to the idea of her remaining in the cabaret show for some time. She had to admit she was hurt by his reaction when they spoke but he was starting to see why it meant so much to her.
On Friday, Alice was surprised to find Tom in his office early. She opened the door and greeted him before taking her seat across the desk from him.
"Good afternoon, Alice." He grinned.
"I have something for you."
"You do?"
"I got you something as a thank you for the assistant director position." She reached into her bag.
"Alice, you didn't have to get me anything."
"I know," She picked her head back up. "I wanted to."
Tom watched as she got out a gift wrapped item. She placed it in front of him and he took it from her, raising his brow as he examined its shape and size.
"You'll love it, trust me." She smirked.
He narrowed his eyes at her as he opened it. Once all the wrapping was off, he saw that Alice had gotten him the game, Bards Dispense Profanity.
"What is this?"
"It's Cards Against Humanity but it's all Shakespeare lines." Alice replied.
Tom laughed as he opened it up and looked at some of the cards.
"I love it. Thank you, Alice." He beamed.
"No problem." She giggled.
"Now, we have to talk about your duties as my assistant director." Tom sighed.
As Tom began talking, he allowed her to copy the notes from his binder so she could remain on the same track that they have been working on until this point. Towards the end of his office hours, Alice stood from her seat and began walking towards the door.
"I have another gift for you." She said softly.
"You do?"
"Yes," Alice smirked. "But in order for you to receive it, the door's going to have to be locked."
Tom's expression dropped as he watched Alice turn the lock.
"Alice?"
"Don't worry, Tom. I know you'll enjoy it."
She sauntered back over to his desk. Tom watched her with hooded eyes as he turned his seat. Alice stopped a few inches away from him and arched her back as she laid her hands on his knees. She loved the fact that he always sat with his legs spread. Tom swallowed the lump in his throat as he looked down at Alice, panting softly, waiting for her to do something... anything.Tom gripped the armrests of the seat as Alice leaned forward. He closed his eyes and moaned softly as Alice laid a soft, lingering kiss to his lips.
"Alice, we've got to be careful." He spoke against her lips.
"Don't worry. I'll be very careful."
His eyes widened as he felt Alice begin to straddle him in the seat. She laid her knees on either side of his hips. She laid her hands against his shoulders. Tom kept his hands on the armrests, not knowing what to do. He tilted his head to gaze up at her. He then gasped as he felt Alice sit back against him. He then quickly glanced down to his lap and then back up at her. She rolled her hips against him and he inhaled sharply, baring his teeth as his hands gripped her waist. Alice giggled as she watched his reactions. She laid her head against his shoulder, placing soft kisses up his neck to his jaw and then back down. Tom threw his head back as he started to aid her movements. Alice gasped lightly feeling Tom thrust his hips up to meet hers.
