I gapped at my brother. Is he seriously here or am I imagining this? I rubbed my eyes and there he was. Still there. "Where were you and why are you with Klaus?"
Harry replied nervously, "Because of the fact we rescued Phoebe before Klaus could get more blood out of her, Klaus couldn't make more hybrids. And he blames me. In order for Phoebe to be safe, I had to stay with Klaus. "
I tried to wrap my head around all of this new info. "You left to work for Klaus?" And I couldn't. How could Harry do that to Phoebe? He said he cared about her.
"Yes. And I know you don't get it now, and you possibly won't ever understand why Klaus wanted me to work for him. It's a long story. "
"New flash Harry.. We're immortal bloodsuckers. If there is anything we have, it's time. " Harry walked past me into the living room. I turned to face him.
"Maybe so. But I can't tell you now. It's not the right time. " Harry explained. Klaus came up behind him and laid a hand on Harry's shoulder.
"On the contrary, I think it's perfect timing. "Klaus smirked at Zayn. "You'll love this story. Tell it Harry. " Harry gulped. I could tell it was something he wasn't ready to tell. He shook his head. Klaus' amused expression was replace with an annoyed one.
"If it's that bad," I gave Harry a strange glance. "you have to tell me. " Harry noticed Phoebe on the couch and shook his head.
"Not here. " Harry whispered. "Phoebe could be listening and I don't think she can handle hearing this. " Harry, Klaus, and I went to somewhere Phoebe couldn't hear us.
"Wanna know what happened after you cornered me in that alley?" Harry queried nervously. I nodded. "My bloodsucking problem didn't get better, it got worse...."
"What do you mean?"
"I became...something I'm not proud of. "
"What Harry?" Harry's anxiety became more and more evident as second passed. It took a minute for him to respond.
"A ripper. "
