I went into the local coffee shop, Orphic Café. I walked up to the cashier and placed my order.

"That will be 3.50 ma'am. "I handed the cashier the money. "Thank you, and your order will be ready at the pickup station. " She pointed to the pickup station.

I walked over there, picked up my coffee and was about to leave when -

"Phoebe? Is that you?" The guy behind the counter asked. I turned around to see Erik. I ground my teeth.

'No it's the tooth fairy,' I thought. I fake smiled. "Hello Erik. "He smiled at me.

"You look great!"I mentally rolled my eyes. I removed the face smile from my face.

"Look Erik, if you're just talking to me so you can try and convince me take you back-" His eyes widened and he interrupted me.

"What? No! Trust me Phoebe that's not it. I want to declare a truce. "I instantly turned red with embarrassment.

"What do you mean by that?"He sighed.

"I'm sorry for being a serial cheater, and I would like to be friends. Please forgive me?"He begged.

"All right. Just friends. "

"Wouldn't have it any other way."I raised an eyebrow.

"Why? I'm not good enough for you?" I joked playfully. He laughed.

"Yes. "He responded. I gasped and hit his arm. We walked out of the coffee shop. "Besides, I'm taken. " I stopped walking.

"By who?"

"Lily Crane. "He said dreamily. We continued walking. I could tell he really liked Lily by the twinkle in his eyes.

"Describe her. "

Erik described her as a Lily Collins lookalike. He said she has a heart of gold. Kind, caring, and beautiful. They've been dating for almost a month. Erik checked his phone and smiled.

"Is that Lily?" I questioned pointing to his phone wallpaper. He nodded.

"That's me and her at her aunt's birthday party. She was so nervous when we took that picture. " He chuckled.
