Chapter 13

Jessie's POV

I opened my eyes when a gentle kiss landed on my lips. I blinked a couple of time and reached for my boyfriend cheek. A smile appeared on my face as i saw the chocolate orbs staring at me with care and love.

"Morning, baby" I caressed his cheek and peeked his lips.

"Morning angel. Medicine on the table, do whatever you need and come down stair. I have to tell you something later" He kissed me again and left the room.

Uh, something is wrong with the room, it was the different room from the room i sleep at Aiden's island, it was Aiden bedroom in his mansion but i guess he carried me while i asleep. I shrugged my shoulder and walked to the bathroom to do my morning routine, not forget to drink my medicine. Since the accident of me forgot to drink medicine occurred, my boyfriend asked me about my sickness a lot. He even knew my medicine routine and always asks that i drink it yet, remind me of my father somehow.

I put on a plain bright blue long sleeve t-shirt, a black jean. I always wear simple. I checked myself the last time in the mirror, noticed my hair is a little long. It cover my ear and touch my back neck, wow now my hair is like a girl who has short hair.

As i came down stair, i saw Aiden laughing with two men and my dad looking bored.

"H-hi" I greeted them and they all turned to look at me. My face became a little red as i shifted uncomfortable. Aiden gently pulled me to him and made me sat on his lap. Now it's time for me to blushing and held Aiden hand to felt a little comfort. And it does, a lot.

"Jessie. I want you to meet my buddies Jacob" He pointed at the short haircut and good looking with a bit of intimate one." and Vince" He point to the friendly and with curl hair one, both of them are really muscular. "They are my assistant in business and will be your personal guard." He said and i greeted them with a nod before turn to my boyfriend to ask, "Why do i need TWO personal guard?"

"You haven't told him?" My dad asked with annoy in his voice. And Jacob and Vince walked out of the room.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Baby, listen" He glanced at my dad and look at me with serious in his voice.

"Uh...somehow information about your present have been spread out. And soon you will be in the eyes of a lot of people, and people here i mean are the other mafia boss. Me and your father agree to work together because of you so we became stronger and people want to take us down. And you are Marcus's son and my lover so you are our weakness and that's why they want you." He held me tighter.

"That's not the end sweetie. Although we're strong but there's one that strong like us, his name is David. And that weird bastard is going to throw a party. But two thing about that party are, first if you don't come then you'll sure found dead, two some people will disappear when the party end and one has luck find them. Our family is invited" My dad said.

"So what're we gonna do now?" I asked in worry. That David guy just hearing i already know he's dangerous.

"Don't worry. Mike had made it a little better for us. He stopped the information to spread out like wide world new although some people may knew that. And he made your appearance as a girl in the party" He said and i just frozen at his words.

"Wa-wait a minute. You're saying i will be a GIRL in that party" I said and they all nodded.

"Baby, it's better to hide your appearance as much as we can. If you are a boy in the party then they will recognize you in just a matter of time. If you appear as a girl then they will be confused and the information of you will soon will disappear like it never happen" Aiden said and leaned down to kiss my forehead.
