Chapter 4 - Party?!

Paje's PoV

Morning, why can't you be late just for once. My alarm just won't stop ringing. I want to stop it but my body won't listen.

"Honey, wake up or you'll be late." Mom tapped my shoulders.

"Give me five minutes."

"Honey, get off your bed already. Breakfast is at the kitchen. You need to go to school before it's too late."

"Okay Mom."

I looked at my clock and like what my mom said I'll be late if I don't move. I took a quick bath and swiped a piece of bread and drank my milk. Even though I'm a college student now, I still love the taste of milk. I fixed my bag and went outside. I started walking but then I realized I forgot my phone and watch. I hurried inside, without those things I'm screwed. Walking without those makes me ackward like something is missing. I can't just go to school without it. I'm about three minutes late. I rushed in for school I don't want to make reports again just because I'm late in my english class.

I arrived infront of the classroom in my english class. I'm hesitating if I should enter or not. This is not gonna take me anywhere. Ms. Lisada didn't scold me, that took me by surprise. This creeps me out coming from a professor that is super strict.

I looked at Shanon's way. She waved. "Let's go to Rikka's party tonight, it's her birthday today."

"Its obvious, I'm not going with you. Actually, do you remember we just met yesterday? And now you want me to go to her house again for the party. Are you kidding me? And another reason, I hate crowded places. So, No. A big NO."

"Stingy. Don't regret it later when you miss her pretty face. Though you can just drop." She smirked.

"Fine. I'll try dropping by." Try.

The whole day passed with the same boredom. I was on my way to my locker when I saw Rikka leaning on it. "Shanon really wants you to come. But don't bother okay." Those words really got in my nerve and before I knew it she passed by me. Well dropping by isn't that big of a deal.

I realized 'Lopper! you're not into social things!' But 'If you let this pass, the probability of getting a girlfriend is next to impossible. This is once in a life time, just go!'

Rikka's PoV

Shanon begged me about asking Paje to come over but frankly I don't want him to go. Why would I want someone as cute as him go to my party? Wait did I complemented him? No! He is a creepy loner who looked like he'll stalk every person that's wearing a skirt. I so don't want to see him at the party.

"Please, if your the one who ask him for me. I'm sure he'll go."

"Shanon he's a freak!?" A Little bit cute. STOP SAYING CUTE!

"Please. Please. Please. Please--"

"Okay stop! Fine! I'll ask him but only once."

"Yey!" She danced and swirled around. This is kind of funny. She was making faces and doing crazy poses.

Class finished and I was planning on going home to help mom. This is Paje's locker right? Oh yeah, I made a promise with Shanon. I leaned against his locker and scrolled on my phone.

After a while I noticed a presence. I made a quick glance, my guess was right. Paje Looper.

"Shanon really wants you to come. But don't bother okay."
