Chapter 1 (School)

I look into the mirror and sigh. I used to look so much like my mother, but I dyed my blonde hair a light brown. And I now have eight piercings. Three on each ear one at the top of my left ear and one noes piercing...oh and a belly button one...so nine piercings. My skin is nice and tan and I have blue eyes. I'm so tired of life at the moment. It's my last year of school, only one week left and then I'm never returning to the hell hole.

"Ember! You have to leave now! Your going to be late!!!" My uncle yells out "coming!" I call back. I quickly find some clothes to throw on, one thing you must know about me...I love graphic tees. They are the bomb! Haha. I pull on my black ripped jean shorts and pull my white cropped 'you see da police warn a brother' top. I stuff my phone into my pocket, grab my old white low converse and head down stairs.

"Seriously Em, you need to eat now you have to leave in five minutes!" My Auntie tells me stuffing toast into her mouth. I grab a apple and the money she's left on the table for my lunch and put it into my bag. "Thanks Jenns" I say giving her a kiss on the check as I head for the front door. "Your bottle Em!" She calls I spin around grab my water bottle and wave goodbye to my Auntie with a apple in my mouth.

I head over to my car. I love my car. It's awesome. It's a white skyline gtr r34 with a black carbon fiber bonnet. I got it last month for my birthday (I paid half with money I got from my job at the little cafe up the road) I speed out the driveway with my music loud. I smile to myself when thousand foot krutch, I see red comes on the radio. I zone out and just drive along until I pull up to my school. "One more week" I sigh to myself, as I get out.

"Yo Em!" I hear called as I walk inside "Mase!" I grin and give him a fist pump "One more week from today and we're free!" He grins back "I know man! Can't wait!" I sigh "how's my girl?" I turn around and see Kyle and Allie walking up to us. Mase and allie have been going out for about a year now and Kyle's Allies twin brother and kinda like my older brother. We are all very close. It's awesome having friends like them.

"I'm gooood! How was your guys weekend away?" I ask Kyle "Ok but we had to see our family so yeah...it was pretty boring to be honest" Kyle grumbles giving me a kiss on the check. "Aw it wasn't to bad actually!" Allies smiles an evil smile at Kyle as Mase wraps her in his arms. They are like the cutest couple. Mase is like 6'4 and all muscle and allies 5'3, skinny and adorable. She has bright green eyes and long blonde hair. Mase has blue eyes and brown hair and Kyle has green eyes like his sister but with slightly darker blonde hair and he's 6'0.

"Aunt Nora tried setting Kyle up with this really scary goth girl, she is a friends daughter it was completely funny. Kyle freaked out and the girl got so pissed at him for not asking her out" Allie burst out laughing. We all cracked up... Well other than Kyle who did a pathetic pout, and grumbled away about it not being funny. "Aww was lidew kywle scared?" Mase teased "Hey! You shoulda seen her man! She was so freacken scary I almost pissed myself when she got mad at me!" He groaned we all cracked up laughing again. After a bit more talking the bell rang and we all headed in different directions.

I wash sitting in English day dreaming when someone poked me in the side. I looked over to see the schools so called 'bad ass' student James sitting there with a smirk on his face"what?" I whispered "nothing?" He grinned. Agh he's such a jerk. In most stories the bad ass ends up having a heart and the nerd girl falls for him and all that crap but James, well he is just a total douche. Seriously like he doesn't have a heart. He just is a complete moron and a big baby. I roll my eyes and try to focus on what the teachers saying.

After class I'm heading towards the cafeteria when James jogs up to my side. "Fuck off" I growl "hmm your sexy when your angry... Want to see what the guys bathroom looks like?" He grins the disgusting sleezy smile. "I.Said.Fuck.The.Hell.Off" I spit out as I keep walking. "Aww come on babe I will make sure you see the roof the floor everything..." He leans close to my ear and whispers "I will make you scream like you've never screamed before darling" I stop in my tracks turn to look at him and without thinking slam my fist into his ugly face.

"FUCK!" He roars stumbling back I walk towards him and shove him over looking down I growl "don't ever come near me ever again you fucktard." A few people are standing round looking at me with wide eyes. "Miss Ember! What are you doing!!" The principle says in a firm voice. "Just explained to James here, that when I say I don't want to have a shag in the bathrooms with him And I mean it." I say with a blank face. "okay next time tell me and I will deal with it Ember." He sighs before turning away. With that push open the doors to the cafeteria. Kyle comes jogging up to me "what the hell did he do?!" He asks with anger in his voice. "Agh nothing I sorted it" I give him smile.

After getting a sandwich at the cafeteria I sit down next to my friends. "Way to go Em!" Mase gives my a fist pump. I laugh "your alright?" Alls asks with a worried look "yea I'm fine, I need to take my anger and bordness out anyway" I grin at her. After lunch I walk to my art class with allie "I can't wait for summer holidays!" She squeaks "Yessss!!!!" I grin "we need to plan a camping weekend altogether!!" "Oh yes definitely!!" Allie says doing a little excited dance. We both laugh walking into class.

After school I say goodbye to my friends and head home.
