"If you won't ask, I'll answer." he stumbled upon her as she walked out of the principal's office, clutching papers and two sets of keys in her hands.
"Why would I want to know?" she handed him a set of keys, causing it to ring as it shook in her hand.
"Because we are friends." he accepted the keys, slipping the backpack off his back and opening the front pocket, for him to stuff them in it.
"When did this happen?" she handed him some paperwork, which he shoved in to one of the larger pockets, with that he zipped them closed and swong the backpack back on to his coated back.
"When you stared at me." he winked, making his way to class.
"Do you even know where our next class is, you didn't even look at the timetable?" she stood there, stuffing her backpack with all the papers, keeping the set of keys and timetable in her hand, her fingers curled around them, to make sure that they didn't fall.
She threw the backpack over her back, hunching a bit after it hit her back.
She stood up straight, walking to him.
"So what's your name?" she groaned when she reached him.
"Mathias." a smile spread across his lips.
"Okay, fine, I asked, now can we get going, we have Math class first and that's-" she pointed her finger at another hallway, unable to finish her sentance.
"Oh Evelina, why must you be so serious and have a spark of annoyance in those beautiful blue eyes of yours, shall I remind you that school is not everything, oh dear Evelina, you fail me." he spoke with utter nonsense.
"What?" she shook her head and lifted her nose from the time table.
He squinted his eyes at her, but did not dare to speak up.
Evelina laughed, making her way down the hall.
"Why are you so mean?" he shrugged, laughing behind her.
