april was a great month. it was the start of alexandria's newly found happiness. that made me happy too. we spent a lot of time at her dorm, watching movies and giggling at her fluffy cat as it walked with a mean face. his name was arlo, and he was always grumpy. she had talked to the professor about having her cat live in san diego with her instead of orange county with her mother. he hesitantly agreed, only because he knew her parents personally and couldn't imagine what her mother was feeling.

by this time, it was almost spring break so me and alexandria also spent a lot of our days in the library, when we weren't in each other's dorm, working on homework. or we'd drive up to orange county on the weekends and spend time with her siblings. they seemed quite lonely. their nanny was there everyday of the week as her mother took time off work, but stayed isolated in her bedroom. alexandria said she was getting better, but it would take time.

one saturday afternoon, on the second week of april, me and alexandria were driving down to orange county to visit her family again, for the third time. i didn't mind going to her home. i knew she needed me with her, and while she visited with her mom and sister, i hung out with her brothers. for ten year olds, they sure knew a lot about video games, skateboards, and cool trampoline tricks.

alexandria's house was huge. if you think about it, they would only need about four bedrooms in their home, maybe five for a guest room. (since her brother's were twins they didn't like sleeping apart). but no, they had about nine bedrooms in the house. nine! they had two guest, one for her sister nova, one for alexandria, one for her parents, one for jayden and jordan, and three extra!

one of the extras was used as alexandria's art room, where all of her supplies lay. the closet held all her empty canvas' and bigger necessities. in the corner was a large easel and boxes of pencils, pastels, paint, anything you could think of. there were beautiful art pieces hung on the walls and shelves full of paintbrushes.

the next room was her brothers' "play room". it held a large television, many game consuls, a foos ball table, beanbags, a couch, and a closet full of their old toys.

the last empty room was her parents' office, on separate walls there were two desks, each accompanied by a comfy spinning chair and computers. seemed modern enough.

since there was not an extra room for nova and all her toys, she had the second biggest bedroom all to herself. it was a very cute room, you could definitely tell it belonged to a young child. she had a canopy over her queen sized, pink bed. she had a fluffy white rug and a lot of various toys. her bay window held pillows with disney princesses on them, and her bookshelf held coloring books and stories.

after alexandria showed me around her mansion, like usual we would join the family in the tv room and watch a disney movie. tonight's consisted of my all-time favorite, aladdin. alexandria's favorite was lilo and stitch, which of course i thought was cute.

it usually depended on the time the movie was over, but this certain night it was late so me and alexandria stayed here. i went to her room to get ready for bed, while she told her siblings goodnight and tucked nova in, sending the nanny home earlier as soon as we got there.

i changed intl my normal sleeping attire, and laid on alexandria's king sized bed. she walked in, and smiled. she kissed my forehead and walked over to her closet, frowning.

"you okay?" i asked, sitting up.

she nodded, "i just want to sleep in your clothes again."

i smiled at this. i stood up and walked over to her bay window, similar to nova's just minus the pink and princesses, grabbing some clothes of mine i had left there over the course of three weeks.

like usual, i handed her a pair of boxers and a tee-shirt. she gladly took them and headed to the bathroom to change.

i smiled to myself as i laid back down and waited for her to finish.

after a few short minutes, alexandria joined me in her bedroom. she sighed as she laid next to me, nuzzling her head into the crook of my neck.

after her father passed, i never usually fell asleep until i was sure she was safe and sound in her own slumber.

after minutes, she finally fell asleep. i kissed her forehead, and whispered. "i love you."
