CHAPTER 14

He can't believe it. He had run away.

Tsuna gritted his teeth as he marched down the hallway in anger. The unexpected appearance of Sawada had spooked him, he didn't even expect the boy to just make an appearance like that.

And to make matters worse, Sawada had appeared in front of Giotto and the rest. He could only wonder what the blonde idiot and the others were thinking.

As he continued on down the path, he came across an open room without a door. And there were the future versions of Giotto's friends.

They all stared at him both surprised and fear were visible in their eyes. Tsuna slowly entered the room, knowing that their eyes were tracking his every movement.

"So, this means that you know about me." Tsuna said as he sat down on an empty chair just by the corner but near to the door. "...No, we don't" Dino spoken up "We only know little bits of information. But not everything." He added on. Bianchi was worried, why is Tsuna with them in this room? What happened when she wasn't there? Fuuta stared at Tsuna as if Tsuna would jump at him anytime soon.

Unknown to them, Tsuna took a deep breath. Good, they don't know about me He thought with a small smile, knowing that he doesn't have any more extra work. "Then...do you want to know?" Tsuna smile grew into a smirk.

Curiosity kills the cat, and if they want to know, then it'll be as the phrase goes. But before they could answer, a movement caught Tsuna's eyes. From the doorway was Lampo, his head was popping out from the doorway.

They made eye contact for a second before Lampo was about to make a run for it. But it was too bad, Tsuna was so fast that he said 'I found a runaway cow for dinner, Excuse me' and caught Lampo by the back collar outside, just a few meters away from the room. "KEE!" Lampo squeak in fear as he was pulled away to somewhere by Tsuna.

"L-Let ME GO!" Lampo screamed, struggling to break free with his butt on fire due to the fiction as Tsuna pulled him without breaking a sweat. "Don't worry Lampo-San~ I won't do anything" Tsuna sang as Lampo felt as if the world has abandoned him.

"....S-SOMEONE! SAVE MEEEEEEE!!!!!"

Lampo screamed, but it was too bad. It seems that no one heard the 'loud' scream from Lampo.

"Seriously, where did that stupid Cow go..." G muttered.

They're still in the common room, still unable to recover from what had just happened. G was smocking his cigarette in the corner to put out his anger mixed with regret. The others were just scattered around the room, Giotto sat on the couch in a daze.

"I...I-I never wanted this...I...I just want Gio-Nii to...leave me"

Reborn was watching from the side of the room, he didn't like it. To see his student just sitting there like a statue instead of looking for Tsuna, he could only wonder if the shock of seeing Tsuna in that state, get to him this much.

Nevertheless, Reborn was actually happy to say that at least the Stupid Cow went to find Tsuna. But it was too bad that he doesn't know what happened to the cow.

Asked the hitman, making Giotto look at him confused.

"If you defended Tsuna from G, You wouldn't have known the emotions he was hiding on the inside. You wouldn't have known what Tsuna was actually felt" Reborn stated before turning to G as he holds out Lean-Gun that seemed to have smock coming out from the barrel.

"I should say also mention that I shot G with a special Bullet that I 'ask' Giannini to make, it increase Anger level that can also increase your strength and stamina" The infant confessed to his crimes with a smile that nobody would say 'No' to, since he was just too cute.

"YOU DID WHAT!?"

G was stoned, he was shot? But he didn't felt anything. The bullet must be why he wasn't able to control his rage and snapped at Tsuna, It was unusually for G to just snap that easily when he has idiots as his comrades. Reborn just smiled back at the tempered G, "It's not my fault, you happened to be the first to get angered" The infant smiled at the red-haired man.

"Hahaha! That's good to know, G didn't mean to shout at Tsuna... like that" Asari smiled, he was glad that his friend didn't hurt the brunet purposely. Even if he wanted answers regarding his own brother, he didn't want anyone to be hurt just to get those answers. It was the same for Knuckle, he promised to himself to never harm anyone without any reason to, it was a promise he made to his sister as well as his brother.

"Hn. Usagi bear fangs underneath the mask that hides another" Alaude said as he walked out of the room. But before he left, he glared at Giotto with a silent message 'Don't screw this up Omnivore'.

It somehow made the young boss laugh, a year before, Alaude never refer people between three levels, Herbivore, Omnivore, and Carnivore. It was funny how Alaude had changed on his way of speaking. Maybe it was to remember and to honor someone.

Daemon was one that he'll not really understand. The man was unlike any other he knew. Daemon was ruthless, never gave mercy to those he deemed worthless. But despite his nature, he was still soft-hearted on the inside.

Reading books when he was free, and even visited the children orphanage to do a small magic show with his illusions for them. Giotto could only wonder why Daemon had such a two-faced personality.

Lampo, the 'child' of the group. Who kept on whining and demanding things that something made even Giotto angry. As time fly by, both of them became close to each other like brothers. Then the day came that Giotto accidentally found out one of Mafia's law that Lampo somehow was involved in.

In the Mafia, if there were to be two heirs, one will kill the other. Age doesn't matter when one of the two reaches the 'coming of age'. The battle begins. Giotto never asked what happened, he didn't want to make the kid remember such horrendous memories. It leaves him to wonder how Lampo could still be a 'brat' after what had happened.

There are things that he didn't know, and better not know, about these friends. And as their Sky, he has to give them space and understanding. And as his Elements, They didn't want Giotto to change. They didn't want their boss to suffer as they did.

"...Dame-Giotto, If you want to make up for everything that went wrong. Now's the time to stand up"

Tsuna smiled at the teenager tied up in front of him. Lampo stared back, he doesn't know why but he felt chains tieing him up but his eyes saw nothing. Whatever that was tied him up onto a chair was invincible.

I guess these Chains are helpful for times like this Tsuna thought, looking at the frightened teenager in front of him. "...I took this too far didn't I..." He wondered to himself. But since he had already done it, it might as well go on with the interrogation.

"Lampo-San...I'll only ask you once. Back then, in that room, What did you see?"
