"Lets go see whats going on" Rose said and with that she lept up and headed over to the crowd, Rachel sighed and followed,
"Rose i dont want to fight Galie" Rachel said telepathically,
"Well i wana check it out" Rose replied. Rachel glanced behind and even Newt and Minho we're coming over to see the commotion, there in the centre of the crowd strutting around was Galie and he was chanting along with the others. "oh clunk" Rachel whispered, she really didn't want to fight Galie from what she heard he's one of the best fighters and hunters.
Minho came up behind Rachel and whispered in her ear, "you will be ok Rachel, just use your speed he's not that fast", then Rachel felt his presence go as some of the gladers grabbed her and pushed he forwards into the centre. She stumbled into the centre and Galie snorted. Rachel looked up at Galie he was actually quite small around her size of height. He didn't have the sort of look of pity so Rachel knew that this was serious.
Also the other thing she knew she would use all her strength not to lose.
Galie sized Rachel up and he looked pretty strong, not as strong as Minho though Rachel thought with a happy lift. But now wasn't the time for drawing your mind off.
"Ok, the rules are, no punching, no kicking and no biting also NO WEPONS", this came from Ben at the front he gave Rachel a wink and a crud smile and she looked away rolling her eyes in disgust.
"Right, lets go greenie", Galie taunted,
He ran forward and so did Rachel ramming into each other, Rachel pushed with all her might, but her foot sliped and Galie pushed her back, she skidded along the floor to the edge of the crowd of people, she could hear people go 'owwwwww' as she had fallen back, some unfamiliar people looked down on her she sighed rolled onto her front and dragged her body back off the dirt floor.
"Your pretty strong for a Greenie", Galie laughed she hated his laugh and the fact he called her greenie she would show him who's really the greenie.
Rachel ran forwards first this time, but Galie wasn't surprised, he rammed into her for the second time she could feel his blood pumping through his arms and the heat radiating off him, then she thought of what Minho said 'speed' she thought.
She pushed harder and just as Galie came to push back harder she moved at the last minuet and dogged to the side, Galie went falling forwards head first onto the dirty ground. The crowd was so surprised that there was barely a reaction, Rachel turned to Galie on the floor and said,
"the names Rachel, and i'm NOT a greenie", with that she turned on her heel and exited through the crowd towards Rose,Newt and Minho (who had a smirk on his face).
"Did you see Galie's face?" Newt laughed, "barely anyone has out smarted him before", Newt patted Rachel one the back.
"It was actually really simple i guess Galie thought i would be too stupid to think of it", Rachel said.
"Don't talk clunk Rachel, you ain't stupid, if anyone is it's Galie", Mihno and Newt laughed.
"Well i'm tired time to hit the hammocks" Rose yawned, "yeah me too" Rachel replied.
"See ya guys tomorrow", Rose said as her and Rachel started to walk towards the hammocks. "Also Rachel, come to the hut about dawn i need to talk to all the runners", Minho shouted. "Ok" Rachel replied.
Rachel and Rose slumped into the hammocks, "who thought you could use so much energy in one day", Rose said to Rachel telepathically
"yeah i know right" Rachel replied.
then they both fell asleep but Rachel couldn't help thinking about the Shadow Horses and she was dying to know more about them.
