Imagine #16

I woke up with a burning pain in my stomach. I got up and I went to the bathroom. I stood there trying to see if the pain will go away when I felt so,etching trigger down my legs. I looked down and I saw clear liquid streaming down. My water broke.

"Nate!" I yelled. He came running into the bathroom. "What happened?" He asked tired. It was 4:30 in the morning. "My water broke. We need to go now!" I said holding to my stomach. He grabbed the baby bag and helped me down the stairs and grabbed his keys. "Let's go have a baby." He said and got in the car.

We got to the hospital. "Help. My wife is going into labor!" Nate yelled as we walked in. They came up to us and took me in a wheelchair as Nate followed. They set me in a room and I was groaning in pain. Nate and I didn't know what we were having. We decided we wanted it to be a surprise.

"You'll be okay baby. Just breathe." He said. The doctor then came in. "Ready Mrs. Maloley?" He asked. I looked at Nate and he nodded at me and I nodded at the doctor.

"Push on 3. 1...2...3." He said and I started pushing. This is the worst pain I've ever been in. I was holding onto Nate's hand the whole time. It's been 3  minutes since I was pushing. "She's out." The doctor said. It's a she. I looked at Nate and he had tears in his eyes. "I have a daughter." He said with a smile. Nate went to cut the baby's umbilical cord and they went to go wash her.

They handed her back to me. "She's beautiful. Just like her mom." Nate said. "I love you Nate." I said and leaned up to kiss his lips. "I love you too baby. And I love you." He said pecking our baby's head. "What's going to be her name?" The nurse asked. I looked at Nate and he nodded. "Kendall Blair Maloley." I wise and Nate pecked my head. I now have a perfect husband and a beautiful daughter.
