The news abruptly hit Joel right in the face. He started to feel nervous yet excited at the same time. Joel knew that soon, Ray will be in the same room as him and he couldn't help but feel joyful. " Isn't it great Joel?!" Gavin squawked as he got up to run and tell another person. "It's amazing", Joel thought to himself as he stared off, not really paying attention. Just then Jon called everyone to get into their positions and to get ready for the game. Gavin and Michael took their seats on their side, who was soon to be followed by Ray, who took his seat by Joel.
Jon then started to babble his team descriptions, as Joel and Ray say there thinking that this was the moment they've been waiting forever for. Jon then turned towards the to, flipping his hair out of his face, and asked them what their team name would be. Joel was about to say how he didn't really know a name when Ray told Jon, "We're team Joelay, keeping it simple.". Joel became a little flustered at Ray's suggestion and tried to shake the feeling away, but couldn't.
Jon accepted both team names and finally stated the first game. During it, Joel and Ray would either be actually participating or would be in deep thought (and not about the game). Michael and Gavin took the first two rounds, giving them a huge lead and leaving team joelay in the dust. "Alright," Jon said as the second round ended, "What are the scores?". The screen then showed to scores, the blue side having 0, while the red had 90 (due to random bonus points from Jon). The live audience started to laugh do to the gap in points, while Jon turned towards the two embarrassed men, "You guys need points, badly might I add, so I'll give you two a redemption round." Cheers erupted from the viewers as Jon continued, "In this round, you two will have to work together.", He said as he tried to fight the other loud voices, "One of you guys will be given a name of someone who works here and will have to describe them to the other person, who's back will be turned. You will have two minutes to guess as many people as you can, and for every person you get, you earn 10 points."
And on Jon's count of three, the two worked together to earn points, Joel being to person describing and Ray being the guesser. Time was running out and so far they had gotten everyone and were on the last one. Joel looked to see who the next person was and realized it was Ray. Ray didn't work there anymore but ended up being on the list, to probably add difficulty. Joel quickly came up with a idea to get Ray to know who it was.
"This person is really attractive, and I missed him while he was gone". And soon, Joel realized it was a terrible idea .
