As the radio quietly played, Joel pulled up to his house. Ray, who had fallen asleep during the car ride, slowly opened his eyes. "We're here, Adam isn't home, so there is nothing to worry about." Joel unlocked the door and let Ray enter, closing the door after him. " Are you hungry, because I can order food or something," Ray turned towards Joel, rubbing his eyes " You don't have to order anything, we can find something here," "Ok," Joel said as he turned on the kitchen lights, " I'm sure I can find something."
Ray had found his way into the living room, taking a seat on the couch. Joel was in the kitchen, putting the dishes away, and yelled, "Want to watch a movie? I have a couple that you might like." Ray nodded his head, but realized that Joel couldn't see him. He got up from his spot on the couch and looked through the movie collection Joel was talking about, picking out a movie that caught his eye. "Find one?" Joel said as he walked into the room, sitting on the floor next to Ray. Ray felt a weird feeling inside of him as Joel's hand touched his, "Y-yeah, I did." Ray held up the movie 'Spirited Away' to Joel " Ok, that's cool. You can put it in the DVD player while I get blankets and such."
As Joel was gone getting things, Ray paused the movie so he wouldn't miss it, and got up to look around. He looked at various pictures of Joel and Adam, with family and friends, until his phone rang. Tina's name flashed on his phone, and Ray debated on weather or not he'd pick it up. Deciding on answering it, he hit the green button "Hello?" "Oh thank god Ray! Where are you, I was worried about you," " I'm at Joel's, he's letting me stay over for the night." "Why are you with him Ray? I though I told you that-" "Enough Tina, I don't want to hear it anymore. Look, I get how you feel about him, I really do. But I told you how I felt about him, ok?" "You can't be serious Ray! You are my boyfriend!" "Not anymore Tina, we are done. I'll be over soon, to get my stuff." "Ray, babe, please think this over-" " Goodbye Tina."
Ray huffed, while turning around to find Joel, who had most likely herd the whole thing. "Joel, I-" How do you feel about me?" "What?" "You said to Tina that you told her how you felt about me" "Well, I have feelings for you, and I kind of lo-" Ray couldn't finish, because Joel cut him off with a kiss.
Ray didn't know what to do but to kiss him back. They ended up not watching the movie
