                                                                           ---YEARS AND YEARS LATER---

We had all graduated high school years ago. Yeah-Yeah and I stayed together but went to different colleges. Everyone ended up being seperated. Except for Timmy and Tommy. And Benny and Smalls. We had all planned on meeting back in the valley. We were going to meet at the sandlot. at 9 a.m. Today. I had moved back here a year ago. I had no way to contact the others to let them know. But they'll all find out today.

After Phillips made me land on my knee like that, I ended up having to have surgery. I didn't play ball again for 3 years. But I eventually played again. I wouldn't let knee surgery stop me from doing what makes me happy.

It's been years. And even though me and Yeah-Yeah stayed together when we left, I kinda expect him to show up here with a beautiful woman on his arm. I wouldn't be mad. But I would be heartbroken. Yeah-Yeah means the world to me.

It was 8 p.m. So I went to my bed and lay down. Soon after, I fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up at 7:45. I took a shower and went to my closet. I put on denim ripped skinny jeans, a red tank top, a baseball jersey, and black converse. I left my hair down. I locked the house as I left. I walked to the sandlot. I was the first to arrive. A little while later, I saw 2 figures walking in. As they came closer, I noticed it was Benny and Smalls. I ran and hugged them.

"Hey, Shorty." they said.

"Hey, guys. I've missed you so much." I said.

"How's your knee?" Benny asked.

"I have a limp and I run a little slower than usual. But other than that fine." I said. It was true.

"That's good." Smalls said.

"So what's it like playing in the big leagues? And being a comentator?" I asked.

"Amazing." they both said.

"Hey, you guys." I heard someone say and someone repeat it. That's how I knew it was Timmy and Tommy.

"What's up?" I said. A while later, everyone was here except for Yeah-Yeah.

"So you guys didn't break up before we all went our seperate ways?" Squints asked.

"Nope." I said.

That's when I saw someone running towards us. It was Yeah-Yeah. I stayed hidden in the back and didn't say anything. He might have forgotten about me. Or might not want to see me.

"Where's Ariel?" was the first thing he said.

"Why is she the first thing you ask about?" Bartram asked.

"Why wouldn't I ask about her? She's my girlfriend and I love her." Yeah-Yeah said.

So I walked to the front of the group. Yeah-Yeah immeadietely hugged me. He picked me up and spun me around.

"I love you, too." I said.
