Forever (A Carson Lueders Story)

Chapter 8

I giggle to myself and start focusing on the film. 

Rose's P.O.V

In the middle of the film I notice that Meghan has fallen asleep, I notice her phone was vibrating so I decide to pick it up and have a look at it.

Her phone read: 64 messages from Josh, I click on his messages and read through them they read:

Hey Megs :)

Sorry I ditched you at the party

You okay

I just heard what happened wanna chat?

Call me

There were more, I smile at how much of a caring friend Josh is, I then notice a text from Carson, my smile faded and I clicked the message, it read:

Hey Megsy, I am so so sorry about tonight, I feel terrible about it, how about me and you have a chat about it and hopefully we can get back together, love you <3

I delete the message from Carson and put her phone back where it was, I walk back and sat in my original position on the sofa. Slowly I find myself drifting off into a nice slumber.

"AHHHHH!!!!" I heard someone scream, quickly I sat bolt up and looked around my room, I am in my bed, I sat there confused as to why I am in my bed but I decide to brush it off and forget about the screaming I fell back to sleep.

Meghan's P.O.V

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" I scream as I sat bolt upright in my bed, I grab my bedsheets and hold it tight as I feel tears escape my eyes and falling down my cheeks,  suddenly I realise I am in my bed and not on the sofa, I decide to ignore it and I squish my face into my pillow and let my tears fall.

After a while my tears stop and I have finally calmed down, I close my eyes and try to fall back asleep.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm at 7:00am, I walk over to the bathroom, tears falling down my face yet again, I have had yet another nightmare again that night, it was the same nightmare, the exact same nightmare. 

I finish my shower and get dressed in my plain white t shirt and black skinny jeans, I stick my blue hoodie on and slip my ankle high trainers on.

When I got back to my room I dryed my hair and put it in a messy bun and grabbed my phone, I walk downstairs and enter the kitchen.

"morning, breakfast is served" dad greets as he passes me a plate with fried egg on toast and some bacon at the side.

"thanks, this looks delicious!" I laugh and start eating the food

After breakfast I clean my bowl up and check the time, it read 7:30am, quickly I pack my books and decide to do some make up, when I am done the time read 7:45am, I pick my bag up and exit my house.

When I reach school I spot Carson talking to a group of people, I walk passed him without saying a word, or even looking at him.

I start looking down towards the floor as I am walking and I bump into someone.

"oh my gosh I am so sorry it was my fault I wasn't looking where I was going" I blurted out

"hahah its okay" they laugh, I look up and spot Matty

"Matty..." I say with a surprised tone to my voice

"Meghan..." he laughs copying what I did

"wait you know my name?" I ask raising an eyebrow

"of course, you're Carson's girlfriend right?" he asks 

"was" I correct him

"hey why don't you hang out with me today?" he asks with a comforting smile

"yeah! that'd be awesome" I reply smiling

"great, see you by the tree at break" he tells me giving me a quick hug before entering the building, as he walks off I just stare at him smiling, there was something about him that made me feel different, that made me feel as if my heart wasn't broken and I loved him for that.
