Chapter 16

"Do you know what happened?" The doctor asks me, we are now in a nearby hospital.

"No, me and my sister where watching tv and then we hears a loud crash" I explain truthfully

"Okay, thank you, you will be able to able to see him in a bit, let the doctors carry on with some tests to figure out what is actually wrong" the doctor explains, I nod my head and sit next to Rose.

"I can't believe it" I whisper, I let tears fall from my eyes, what? Do you really expect that I can hold them in now? No chance.

"He'll be okay, the doctors know what they are doing" Rose whispers back

"I hope you're right" I reply with, I need to see him, I need to know if he's okay.

I start walking to his room door. I can do it, I can open it and see if he's okay.

"Excuse me, where are you going?" A doctor asks

"Um, to see if he's okay, I need to know what happened, and if he's okay" I explain

"Not right now ma'am they are still running a few tests, should be over soon though" he informs me

I walk back to Rose, my parents are sitting the other side of us.

"I'm gonna go for a walk,tell me if anything happens?" I say

"Of course" she tells me, I smile to her and start walking along the corridor, I reach the loft and stand in the corner, I am going to go and walk outside, this hospital has a nice garden.

"Oh, hello, funny to see you here?" A familiar voice says, my head bolts up and there stood Beth.

"Hi" is all I say

"Why are you here?" She asks

"Why do you care?" I ask shooting her a glare

"Well I don't but this will be one boring lift ride without knowing, so tell me" she tells me, by this time the lift has stopped at the bottom floor, I sped out the doors and all the way outside.

"Are you still with Carson?" She asks

"Yeah, but again, why do you care?"

"Oh wow, just wow, that's very surprising, Carson told me he was actually gonna ditch you when on holiday, why hasn't he done it yet?"

"Maybe coz you're lying" I reply, out of all the people in the world, I am stuck with Beth.

"Hah, lying? Honey I am not lying, go ask him yourself"

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't, now leave me alone"

I walk away from Beth, hopefully leaving her there, and that she has not followed me.

I make my way baxk to the floor that everyone is on, I see a doctor talking to my parents and Rose, so me being me I liter sprint.

I finally made it, almost running into the doctor, but I did it.

"What's happened?" I ask eagerly, hoping for good news

"You can see him now" the doctor says "you ready?"

I nod my head and Rose and my parents stand up and walk into the room, I look over and see him.

"Hey Carson" I say

"Hey Megs" Carson replies

"How you doing?" I ask

"Alright I guess, a bit sore though" he informs me

"Hey I need to ask you something, it can't wait, it has been bugging me ever since Beth told me"

"Beth? Tell me Megs"

"She told me that you told her that you where gonna ditch me when on holiday" I say

I look at his face and saw his face expression drop. Wait is it true or not?

"Carson?"

"I...Uh" he says

A/N hey guys, so my exams aren't over yet, but they will be done on Friday (yaay!) But I felt like this story needed updating as I left it on a clifhanger for a few months and did feel like I needed to add on to it, anyways hope you enjoyed, and yup there is another cliffhanger here (haha I'm so evil) but it won't take as long as last time for this story to be updated, as I am almost done with these exams.
