chapter 13

6 months later

"Meghan?" Carson calls causing me to snap back to reality

"uh yeah?"

"you exited about tomorrow?" he asks

"YESSSS!!!!" I scream, tomorrow Carson, me and both our families are going on a holiday together.

"I can't wait a whole 2 weeks with you, by the beach, it's going to be perfect" he tells me

"I can't wait to, also tomorrow is our 7 month anniversary" I tell him

"how could I forget"

"hey Meghan!" someone calls, I look around the room and see someone looking at me, I roll my eyes and carry on talking to Carson.

"Carson why are you talking to her?" someone standing next to me asks, I look towards the persn, it's Beth, the meanest girl in  our year

"because she's my princess" Carson tells her, this causes butterflies to form in my stomach

"eww, her, that?" she asks looking at me with a loom of disgust on her face

"yes, she is beautiful, now please keep moving, you're not gonna get anything here" Carson says and Beth just rolls her eyes, she grabs my arm and moves towards my ear

"leave him alone, you don't deserve him!" she whispers and then walks away

 "what did she say?" Carson asks

"she said nothing" I say as I look down at my phone, I start scrolling through twitter until Carson took my phone and stuck it in his bag, he then grabbed my hands and looks at me straight in the eyes

"tell me the truth, please" he says looking at me

"fine, she told me to leave you alone because I don't deserve you" I explain

"who does she think she is? no one upsets my princess, no one lays a finger on her, Meghan you are perfect ignore her, I am gonna go and talk to her" he explains and then stands up and walk over to Beth

"Mr Lueders sit down" Miss Young orders, Carson ignores and walks straight over to Beth

"why don't you leave Meghan alone, don't touch her, don't talk to her, and don't even look at her, she is my princess" he shouts and then sits back down.

After school

"Hey Carson thanks so much for today, you are amazing" I say before I walk into my garden

"anytime, see you later tonight, I gotta go pack because it's holiday tomorrow!" 

I enter my house and make my way to my room, I see a suitcase which has some of my clothes in it. I finish packing it and take it downstairs placing it where everyone else put theirs.

"Meghan, come on I have a surprise for you!" Rose calls, I run after her and we both go check it out.

"what is it?" I ask

"here" she smiles handing me a small bag, I take it and look inside, I saw a cute pair of sunglasses inside, I try them on and look in a mirror and they look perfect, when I take them off I give Rose a big hug.

"thanks so much sister, it's perfect" I say as we pull away from the hug

"hey I figured since we gonna be by a beach you'll need a pair of these, and you broke your last pair"

"hahah yeah, I won't brake these, that's for sure"

"I hope you don't" she laughs

We both make our way downstairs for pizza, this is when Carson arrived, we all ate pizza whilst Carson started playing his playlist. Me and Carson start singing the lyrics when shake it off came on.

"I love that song" I laugh

"same" he adds on

After a few hours of talking, singing and just being weird we decide to go to sleep. Carson sleeps in the spare bed in my room.

"can't wait for tomorrow" I smile as I lay down to go to sleep

"same here" Carson replies, and then we both fall asleep.
