Chapter 11

Simons POV

Do you ever wake up and regret everything, that's how I feel. I heard voices downstairs and Sophie was still asleep so I just went down. Josh, Vikk and JJ where downstairs, Josh and Vikk looked fine but JJ looked rough.
"Wow Simon you look like shit" Josh commented
"I feel like it too" I went to the fridge to get a bottle of water and everyone was quiet it was as if it was awkward but we aren't awkward around each other so I was confused. I felt guilty, and I don't know why.
"Eh Simon?" Josh spoke up
"Mmm" I groaned
"Don't you remember last night?" Vikk added.
"No, I remember nothing" they all looked at me

Sophie's POV
I woke up and Simon wasn't in bed I guessed he was downstairs, I was gonna go back to sleep but I couldn't so i just went down. I could hear them all talking as I was walking down stairs but when I went in the kitchen they all stopped and looked at me.
"Morning" I said pulling out the stool next to Simon, Simon looked ill and not just a hangover he looked kinda sad, I just brushed it off as a hangover.
"You guys look a little rough" I joked
"We are" JJ groaned
"So how was last night" I asked Simon, he started to get a little bit panicky.
"It was great" Josh interrupted.
"How was yours?"
"Yeah great thanks"
I made myself some cereal and stayed with them no one else had cereal apart from Josh and Vikk, I think Simon and JJ felt sick at the thought of food.
"I need to go edit a video" Simon groaned. He put his hand on my shoulder then left the kitchen.
"What's up with him?" I asked concerned.
"Ehhh, dunno..... Just a hangover" Vikk stuttered.
"Okay" I ate my cereal then went upstairs Simon was lying on his bed face down, I lay down in the same position next to him as soon as I did he stood up again.
"Do I smell or something?" I asked
"What, no don't be silly! Do you have work?"
"Yeah I'm gonna go get changed now and then head otherwise I'll be late" I left his room and went and got ready for work.
Simons POV
She left my room and went in a shower when I heard the water running I went back down stairs, what will I do? I thought to myself, Why? I'm so annoyed at myself. I went into the kitchen and Josh and JJ where there, I spoke to them about it and asked what I should do, they weren't much help they where both saying different things.
"I'm gonna take her out for dinner after she's finished work" that's my plan
"Are you gonna..."
"Right I'm leaving now" Sophie popped her head in the door. I went up to her and hugged her, " bye"
Sophie's POV
I got to work 10 minutes early so I went on my phone I got a text from Simon; do you want to go out for something to eat later?
Sophie- yeah sure, only if your up for it though xx
Simon- I'm trying to recover now haha
Sophie- right I've got to go, I finish at 5pm xx
I put my phone down and got on with my work, 5 o'clock couldn't have come any slower, when my phone hit 5 I was outta that place.
      For once when I was walking home it wasn't raining and it was still quite light. When I got to the house like always the door was locked I chapped it and Simon answered,
"Hi"
"You feeling better?"
"Yeah much better, you ready to go or do you want to get changed?"
"Depends, it's nowhere fancy is it?"
"Nah, your favourite!"
"Pizza express?" I was excited
"Yeah" he didn't seem as excited
"Fuck getting changed then"
Simon and me got in his car and he drove to pizza express the whole time we where there he seemed on edge, he wasn't being himself.
"Simon what's wrong?"
"I...I... Still don't feel 100%"
"Oh okay"
Every so often Simon would act as if he was gonna tell me something then not and start a new sentence I was getting a little annoyed with him, when we had finished he insisted on paying even though I wanted to and then we got stopped by a few of his viewers and then we went home, I was on Twitter on the way back, we had pulled up to the house we where both getting out the car when someone tweeted me a picture of Simon last night kissing another girl.
"Simon what the fuck" I raged
"What?" He said innocently not knowing that I knew.
"Who the fuck is this" I slammed the car door and walked over to him holding up my phone. He just looked at it in shock, I could feel myself getting teary eyed, he stayed quiet.

Simons POV
"Well?" She said moving the phone,
"Sophie I'm sorry, I was gonna tell you tonight, I never meant it I was drunk"
"You where drunk that's your excuse? you where drunk, guess what Simon I've been drunk in this relationship but I haven't kissed anyone!" She looked so upset.
"I know you haven't, I regretted it as soon as I done it, I promise Sophie, it was a mistake."
"A fucking mistake is forgetting to pic something up from the supermarket, not kissing someone when you have a girlfriend" her eyes where tearing up.
"Sophie please" she started to walk away but she stopped and turned her body.
"And to think Simon I was this close" she pinched her fingers "I was this close to telling you  I loved you tonight" she threw her phone on the ground infront of me and walked off, I started to run after her,
"Sophie wait, please"  she faced me and said the words I never wanted to hear from her she spoke.
"We are done" what have I done, that girl I kissed was nothing compared to Sophie, Sophie's cute, sweet, gorgeous and smart and she wouldn't hurt a fly and I gave that up because of one kiss at a club. I had lost her. Josh and Vikk came running out saw I was alone at the end of our drive and realised what had happened.
"Where is she Simon?"
"She's fucking gone!" I pleaded, I picked up her phone the picture still on the screen, the screen was completely smashed.
"Did you tell her?"
"No I coward out but someone tweeted her it, where is she gonna go?" I was concerned about her
"She will go to that Chloe girls place"
"But she doesn't have her phone, he purse, nothing!"
"Right I'll go look for her" Josh suggested.
"I'll come" I suggested trying to help
"Simon your the reason she upset"
Josh's POV
I got in my car and drove out our drive and went looking for her, she never got far I started to slow down when I approached her, I rolled down the window and I could see she had been crying.
"Sophie get in a minute!"
"No please leave me alone"
"Sophie you have no phone, your bags back in his car, just get in." She got in after a minute of persuasion and she just burst out crying, I pulled her into a hug and let her cry for as long as she wanted. She stopped and sat up.
"I'm sorry"
"Why?"
"For crying on you" 
"Don't be silly!" I laughed
We sat in the car for a solid 15 minutes talking and I managed to persuade her to come back to ours just for the night and leave the next day, she was very adamant that she didn't want to see Simon and didn't want to come back but I persuaded her, she doesn't even need to look in his direction. I honestly felt terrible for her, she told me about what happened with her friend Beth and her parents and all her old boyfriends and how she thought Simon was different then he done this I tried to tell her he was but she didn't listen to me. We got back and she walked a couple steps behind me, on her way in she picked up her phone
"Well that's a good iPhone 6 broke" she joked.
I took her upstairs when we got to the top it was just my bad timing that Simon was just out the bathroom  which was inbetween his room and the spare room and we bumped into him, he opened his mouth to say something but stopped and just walked away. I took her into the spare room and sat with her for a while.
"Why did he do it?" She asked a tear falling down her cheek
"I'm not sure Sophie he was really drunk, I mean you saw him last night"
"He never even told me himself, I found out through Twitter"
"He was going to tell you but he didn't want to hurt you, he loves you Sophie! I promise" I tried to assure her.
"If you say so" she said, I said goodnight to her and left her room, I seriously felt bad for her.

Sophie's POV
Its weird because for 4 months I've been sleeping in Simons bed with him but now, I'm gonna be alone, why did he do this to me, was I not fun enough? Did I not treat him nicely? Was i too clingy? A million and one questions where racing through my mind and I couldn't answer any of them. When we bumped into Simon we connected eyes but I looked away before I started to cry again. Josh took me to my room, spoke to me for a bit and left me be which I was happy about, but I cried myself to sleep.

Simons POV
Do you know what it's like to hear the person you love cry for 3 hours straight because of something you know you did and not be able to comfort them...no...well I do and I hate myself for it.
