Chapter 18

Sophie's POV
I woke up in a hospital bed by myself, there was a nurse in the room with me but she wasn't looking at me. I cleared my throat. The nurse jumped around and looked at me.
"Hello honey how are you feeling?"
"I'm fine thank you, is there any chance I could get a drink?" I tried to smile
"Of course I'll get you one right now, do you want me to sit you up?"
"Ehm yes please" she walked over and sat me up. I studied my surroundings and that's when I realised there was a space where my knee downwards used to be. I bent over to try and touch what was my leg but My fingers throbbed. I couldn't cry, tears weren't coming out....nothing. The nurse walked back in with my water, "My leg..."
"Oh honey" she came over and hugged me. I still didn't cry.
"Oh well I never really liked my left leg" I tried to lighten the mood with humour but it didn't make me feel better.
"You know what honey, you sure are stronger than anyone I have ever met. Most people mourn over what has happened but you just smile, I don't think you have stopped smiling"
I smile again "thank you, can I see anyone yet?" I ask
"Yes of course, I can bring you a phone in if you like, unfortunately your phone broke in your accident"
"Yes please and I can always get my boyfriend to buy me a better phone" I joked, the nurse smiled. She entered holding an ancient phone,
"Here, do you know the number?"
"Yeah" I took it from her and instantly typed in the sidemen house number because I couldn't remember Simons mobile number.
"Hello" JJ said
"Hey is Simon there?" I asked.
"Em yeah he's sleeping two seconds" I could tell by JJs confused voice he couldn't tell it was me.
"Simon....Simon, someone's on the phone asking for you I don't know who it is" I heard JJ say.
"Hello?" Simon groaned
"Simon?"
"Sophie, OMG can I come see you yet, I'm so happy" a smile came over my face.
"Yes please do"
"Okay I will by.."
"Simon wait..."
"What?" I waited a couple seconds
"I love you!"
"I love you too"
"You two are cute" the nurse said
I blushed "Thank you so much, I'm so excited!"
"I can tell honey"
I lived how this nurse called me honey it made me feel warm inside, I was so excited for Simin coming but wait my leg, what if he stops loving me what if he thinks I'm ugly, I grabbed my cup of water and drank it.
Simons POV
I hung up the phone and jumped into a shower and put on my clothes I didn't even do my hair I pulled my shoes on and I was half way out the door when JJ stopped me,
"Who was on the phone?"
"It was Sophie I'm going to the hospital" I shit the door and got in my car and drove as fast as I was allowed to the hospital I checked in my name
"Who are you here to see?" The grumpy man behind the counter asked me.
"Sophie Clark"
"She's on floor two room 7"
"Thank you" I walked to the stairs and ran up them on to floor two, "room number 4.....5.....6......7!" Before I went in I noticed the blinds where closed and so was her door has she gotten worse?
"Hey honey who are you?" A nurse approached me
"I'm Simon, Sophies Boyfriend"
"Oh she's very excited to see you but I need to tell you that during the operation we had to amputate her leg so please be sensitive to the matter" I was overwhelmed, but I didn't care, I turned the handle....
Sophie's POV
I heard the door handle turn as I read my magazine "Gina how long will I be stuck in this bed for?" No one answered me I looked up.... "SIMON!!" I sat even more upright and held my arms out he ran up to me and gently hugged me at first then squeezed me. We stayed like that for a while. Gina walked in.
"Okay now ma honeys you are both going to need to take it easy your shoulder will still be healing abit and you misses well I know you hurt right now" she pointed at us both and we laughed,
"But imma leave you alone but remember take it easy" she left.
We hugged again but then I put my arm around his neck and we kissed.
"I've missed you so much Soph"
"I've missed you too, did anyone tell you about my leg?"
"Yeah I'm so sorry, how do you feel?"
"Si it wasn't your fault you didn't make us crash but I mean I would rather my leg was there but it's not and there's nothing I can do about that" I giggled
Me and Simon spent hours talking and laughing and kissing and hugging but Gina came in and told him that he had to go,
"Does he have to go?" I begged Gina
"Yes honey he does but you can come back tomorrow early in the morning" she said to Simon
"I'll be back tomorrow with some of your stuff is there anything inparticular you want?"
"Can you just bring me some pjs I had these gown things and a brush and can you put your jumper in as well" I smiled with my puppy dog eyes
"Sure" he knelt down to give me a hug and kiss before he went.
"Oh Simon" I caught him before he left
"Yea?"
"Here take my bank card and can you buy me a new phone please I have enough money in my account its just I've been stuck in this bed reading the same magazine over and over"
"Wow you must trust him" Gona laughed
"With my life" I joked
"Sophie are you sure?"
"Yeah I trust you so why not come here" I signalled him over and whispered in his ear my pin

"Okay, I promise I won't steal from you" he laughed "what phone do you want?"
"Get me an IPhone 6S in light grey"
"Okay bye Soph, I Iove you" he kissed me again
"I love you too" and then he left.
"You two are goals af" Gina joked and I burst out laughing!
Simons POV
As soon as I left the hospital I went to the apple shop and got Sophie her phone then I went to her phone company and get it signed up, I payed for her phone because I felt so bad for what happened to her, she's going to kill me but I don't really care then I went home to pack her bags for tomorrow. I packed two pairs of her pyjamas, some fluffy socks, her iPad for movies, and her beats headphones, I also packed her toiletries bag and two of my jumpers then I filmed some videos because I didn't want my viewers to worry at all so I kept the uploads as smooth as I possibly could.

Okay so in the last chapter I said I was torn between two options and one of them was to make Sophie die ( I know very depressing) or to make her have her leg amputated (also very depressing) then I decided that it would be better to keep her alive!
