♨ Chapter # 5♨
Lunch- The Most Important Meal of the Day
Brianna’s POV
“What time is it?” I ask. We were all playing games on the Wii in our hotel room and half of us were still in our pajamas.
Ryan looks down at his watch “1:30”.
“It’s about time for lunch, do you guys wanna go out to eat?” Justin asks.
Me, Isabel, Amanda, Rythima and Georgi all nod.
“Yea, one sec let me finish this game of bowling. One more strike and I win.” Chaz says.
He swings his arm back, then towards the TV. The virtual bowling ball went down the lane and hit all 10 pins.
Chaz screams, “YES!! VICTORY!”
Everybody rolls his or her eyes. Chaz usually always wins at bowling on the Wii. Georgi had something else on her mind.
“Chaz wanna make a bet?” Georgi asks.
Chaz drops the Wii remote and comes and sits across from Georgi. “What kinda bet?” he asks.
“A bet where you can win money.” She tells him.
“Ooooh I like money. Keep talking” he says obviously interested.
Everyone was staring at them, just listening.
“Ok I bet you $20 that you can’t beat my little sister at Wii bowling when we get back to Atlanta.” She says.
We all smile but not for the same reason Chaz was smiling.
Chaz is smiling cuz he probably thinks that he can get 20 bucks that easy. He doesn’t know what’s in store for him.
Flashback
“So why couldn’t Chaz come?” I asked.
Justin answered. “He had to go to the dentist.”
“Sucks for him.” Ryan said and laughed.
Georgi unlocked the door to her house and let us in.
“I’m home.” she said.
“Hello. Nice to see everyone again,” Her mom said from the kitchen. “If u guys want anything I will be upstairs.”
She went upstairs and we were left standing there.
All of a sudden we heard Georgi’s little sister’s voice right behind us.
“Do you guys want to play Wii bowling with me???” Alexia asked. We all turned around to look at her.
“No” Georgi said right away.
“Yea sure we can play.” I said. Isabel, Rythima and Amanda nodded their heads in agreement.
“Guys I’m warning you,” Georgi said. “Don’t play.”
“What’s the harm in one game?” Christian asked. We followed Alexia to where the Wii was set up.
“Walking out of here with an empty wallet.” Georgi said quietly.
Alexia handed everyone a remote. Georgi sat on the couch. She didn’t look too happy.
“Ok before we start, how about we make the game more interesting? I bet everyone $5 that I can beat all of you.” Alexia said.
Georgi looked up. “Guys I wouldn’t accept-“
