Before you read: I want to warn you that it is in fact short, and somewhat of a filler. I havne't been able to get online in a few days....so I had no reason to write. This is what I have saved. SO- enjoy! And I fell off of the Action and Teen Fiction lists completely :( I was like, 88 on action at one point. Please vote, fan, and comment! I've had wonderful support so far...don't stop now!

Chapter 9 (Part One)

Chapter 9

I sat next to Damien on the couch, flipping through the channels. An occasional shuffle was heard from the corner; the two men were still there. Though they had long given up on trying to escape….some handy dandy duct tape, rope, and quite a bit of empty threatening made sure of that.

Now all we had to do was wait. Wait for either Mark or Mary to walk in the door. Honestly, I hoped for Mary. Mark would probably panic and call the cops. I was not in the mood to explain why I had held them hostage instead of turning them in.

“Uh, Skye?” Damien shuffled nervously in his seat.

“Yeah?”

“Why haven’t you called some kind of authority to take them in?”

Because I was enjoying watching these ‘macho men’ squirm at the hands of a seventeen year old girl, I thought. “You’re probably right,” I huffed.

I pulled out my phone and called Mr. Henderson.

“I’ve got the same two men that chased me cowering in the corner of my living room,” I smiled at the thought.

“How on Earth did you manage that?” He asked in disbelief.

“I have my ways,” I responded.

“No doubt about it,” he replied in exasperation.

“So now what?” I asked.

“Keep them there. I’ll be there soon,” he promised.
