Haven sat on her bathroom floor. Her phone lay next to her encase what she was about to do turned ugly and yet she knew she would never call for help. Her parents were just down the hall and so she tried her hardest to not wake them. She couldn't stand the thought of them seeing what she did to herself.
She stared at the 4 bottles laying in front of her. Aspirin, Sleeping pills and two without labels. She swallowed 2 of each resulting in 8 she knew one of the bottles would do nothing but she liked the though of swallowing them it was an addiction. Like alcohol was an alcoholics, she couldn't help herself.
And as the pills overtook her she let herself slip into unconsciousness.

Haven awoke at 3pm that Saturday afternoon. Her parents didn't assume anything different of it though, Haven was always waking up late. Little did they know the reason why.
Her eyes fluttered open only to be greeted by the cold tiled floor of her bathroom. She wasn't surprised by this either she knew how this came about or she would within the next hour it was a never ending cycle. This was the reason she was home schooled she never got up on time, and her parents never questioned it they were to caught up in their own lives to worry about Haven's. And that was how she liked it.
She walked into the living room where her parents sat on the couch talking about something she couldn't make out. But once they saw her their attention soon was drawn to her. "Haven why don't you come sit down and have some breakf-afternoon tea" Belinda also known as Haven's mom asked her.
"Yeah sure" Haven replied blankly her mother sighed knowing this was all she was going to get out of her little girl. "Haven could you go and check the mailbox please" He father asked her, Haven nodded her head and disappeared to get the mail.
Haven exited her family home. Walking down the driveway to collect the mail. But of course she had to look herself first. Newspaper, Magazines, Bills and that was about it. Haven was safe. There was reason Haven was the only one to collect the mail, her parents just didn't know it.
Haven's pills came from all over the place of course. Black Market, articles, online and from the street on A town but some were indeed delivered to her house.
She entered the kitchen with all the collected mail in her hands. She then made her way over to the table where her Mom had served her Pancakes. 'Yum' Haven thought to herself. "Mom its not the morning you know, it's the afternoon" Haven says as her Mom enters the room. "But Honey you don't wake up in the morning" Belinda points out. "You have a point there" Haven answers as she continues to stuff her face with pancakes.
