P.O.V. Emerald
I looked down at my dress and then looked at [Name]. I can't believe I'm doing something like this again. "Alright so what's the plan?" I asked looking at him.
"Well an old . . . friend is stopping by Vale today and I want to pay him a little visit." He said looking at me.
"And he just happens to be attending a social event were dancing is custom?" I asked looking at him.
"His sisters wedding yes." He said looking at me.
"I see. So what kind of friend are we talking about? The kind that owes you money the kind you want to use or the kind you need information from?" I asked looking at him.
"The kind who owes me some blood." He said looking from me.
"You can't get blood from a stone." I said looking at him.
"I don't want to get blood from a stone I want to get it from him." He said looking at me. "Well are you ready?" [Name] asked looking at me.
"Yeah I guess." I said as we walked out the door. When we did I saw that there was a motorcycle waiting for us. I looked at it with surprise.
"What's wrong?" He asked looking at me.
"I've never rode on a motorcycle before." I said looking at him.
"Nervous?" He asked looking at me.
"No I'm actually really excites to be honest." I said looking at him. When I looked at him he had a smile on his face and held up the keys. "Want to drive?" He asked looking at me.
"Can I really drive it?" I asked looking at him. When I did he tossed me the keys and I smiled. "Oh this is gonna be sweet." I said as I looked at the bike.
I then got on it and felt him get on it behind me. "Alright well lets get going." He said looking at me. I smiled and started it then rode down the streets.
This was exciting. Just riding down the streets with nothing but the wind in my hair and [Name]'s hands around . . . my . . . waist. I then blushed when I realized that his where at my waist.
However I noticed that they were also very warm. I guess at this speed I'm going to get a little cold and he could keep me warm so it wasn't that bad.
I then saw the building that we were to stop at I broke the bike to a stop and got off of it. The to of us then walked towards the building. When we got there a man stopped us. "Sorry this is a private party." He said looking at [Name].
[Name] then reached into his jacket and pulled out a small envelope. "This is our wedding invitation." He said looking at him. The man took it and then smiled.
"I see I am sorry to have stopped you please move forward." He said looking at me.
As we walked in [Name] pulled out the photo. "Hey check out this picture of my daughter." He said pulling out a picture. I was surprised to hear this however when I saw the photos it made sense.
On the photo was a picture of a man. With two words written above it. "Our target." I will admit that this wasn't the best way to relay the information but it was creative to say the least.
How music then started to play and he grabbed my hand.
P.O.V. [Name]
"Come one Emerald let's dance." I said taking emeralds hand and dragging her onto the dancefloor. When we got there I smiled and whispered. "You see the target?"
When I asked her this she looked behind me on both sides and nodded a small no. "I'm going to spin you. Look for the target." I said looking at her and she nodded.
When she did I smiled and raised my hand and she twirled around two or three times. When she stopped I looked at her and she tilted her head to left slightly.
When she did I mentally smirked at my victory. I turned slightly and looked for the target and when he came into sight I smiled. Glad I chose her to come and help me with this mission.
She's so observant and patient. More importantly she's yet to question a single command I've given her. Makes me wonder why my sister gave her to me. I mean she has to be one of the best she has.
"Close your eyes." I said looking at her. She gave me a confused look and I clarified. "The lights are getting ready to go out. If we close our eyes now we'll be able to see in the dark and get our target and get out before they come back on." When I said this she nodded and closed her eyes.
After she had done this I followed her lead and closed my own. After I did kept dancing and was a little surprised I didn't bump into anyone. However the lights then went out and I heard everyone talking and a few whispers.
I opened my eyes and they met Emeralds. I then nodded and we both separated and ran in different directions. When we did she nocked the target out and I picked him up and tossed him on my shoulder.
However I noticed that Emerald wasn't following me. I then looked around and noticed that she was fighting someone. He must have been onto our plan before the lights went out.
After I got out of the building I threw my friend on the bike and went back to the building. However as soon as I went to open the door Emerald went through it. "Let's go!" She said looking at me.
I nodded and we both got on the bike. I hit the gas and we both went through the streets. We then came to a stop in front of the building. When we did some of my men approached me.
I tossed them the man that was behind me and looked at them. "Take him to the torture room and see what he knows." I said looking at them. They nodded and took him away.
"Amazing work Emerald come to my office to receive your pay." I said looking at her. She then nodded and I walked into my office.
I waited a little bit but Emerald never showed up.
I sighed got Emeralds pay and walked to her room. When I did I knocked on her door and she opened it. "Oh [Name] what are you doing here?" She asked looking at me.
"I'm here to give you your payment. You never showed up so I thought I'd deliver it to you in person." I said holding out my hand that held her current payment.
She looked at it and then sighed. "I don't deserve this. I killed someone tonight our goal was to capture that man not kill anyone. I have failed you." She said looking at the ground.
"Failed me? If anything you've done me a favor." I said looking at her. When I said this she looked at me in slight surprise.
"A favor r-really?" She asked looking at me.
"Well think about it for a second Emerald. If you hadn't killed him he would have not only come looking for his friend but also could have given what I look like to the police. If anything you saved my life out there." I said looking at her.
"TH-THANK YOU SIR!" She said rather excitedly. Wow I got that kind of reaction just from a little bit of praise? I can't wait to see how she reacts to her payment.
"No problem anyway here's your payment." I said handing her the money. When I did she took it and looked at me.
"Just one more thing." She asked looking at me.
"What's that?" I asked looking at her.
"When we were outside you said I did an amazing job. Did you really mean that?" She asked looking at me. I smiled and looked at her.
"Of course I did Emerald. You preformed this part almost flawlessly. I wouldn't want to have taken anyone else on this mission with me." I said looking at her.
When I said this she smiled and looked at the lein in her hand. "Thanks [Name] I'll come and get a new job tomorrow." She said shutting the door behind her.
Wow I should probably start praising peolpe more often . . . or at least praise her more often. She really seems to respond well to it. Geez it would seem as if Cinder gave me the perfect worker.
