P.O.V. [Name]

I had just received a letter from Cinder. She said she wanted to meet with me about something. I had a pretty good idea what it was too seeing as how in the letter the words "Please bring Emerald" were written on it.

She's lucky she's my sister otherwise I wouldn't acknowledge her request. I sighed and then as if someone had read my mind Emerald walked into the room. "I completed my . . . what's wrong [Name]?" She asked looking at me.

"My sister has requested a meeting and she wants you to attend." I said looking at her. When I said this she gave me a questioning look then shrugged.

"Alright well when and where are we supposed to meet her?" She asked looking at me.

"She wants to meet tonight at her compound." I said looking at her. When I said this she nodded and went to go get ready. "Wait Emerald when you first came in here what were you going to say?" I asked looking at her.

"Oh I was just going to say that I finished my job." She said looking at me with a smile. When I heard this I smiled. I hadn't even assigned her a job and yet she's already completed one.

"You know Emerald you really are an amazing employee. I'm not sure what I'd do without you." I said looking at her. When I said this she smiled and walked out the room.

I myself then looked for something that may seem appropriate for the meeting with my sister. After I had found something I walked out of the room and saw Emerald talking with a few of the other girls that were here.

"Emerald you ready to go?" I asked looking at her.

"Yes I am." She said getting up and waving a farewell to her friends. I smiled and we walked out of the building. Cinders compound wasn't to far away so it wasn't much of a walk.

"Hey [Name] me and the girls are curious about something." Emerald suddenly said looking at me.

"What's that?" I asked looking at her.

"Well we were talking about Megan's new boyfriend and we all started to wonder if you had anyone like that." She said looking at me.

"A boyfriend? No sorry Emerald but I'm straight." I said looking at her.

"O-of course sir that's not being called into question. We just wanted to know if you have a girlfriend." She asked looking at me.

"No I'm not seeing anyone at the moment." I said looking at her. "Why do you ask? Is there someone that you are starting to grow rather attached to? If so just say the word and we can put some form of protection on him." I said looking at her.

When I said this she looked forward. "Yeah I guess you could say I like someone. However I'm sure they can take care of themself." She said looking at me. I nodded and she then looked at me.

"What about you? Got someone you're keeping a close eye on?" She asked looking at me.

"No not really. None of the girls at the compound have managed to capture my attention yet. . . well none except you." I said looking at her.

When I said this I could have swore I saw her smile but it faded to fast for me to be sure. "Well do you have anyone you would like to date?" She asked looking at me.

When she asked me this I put my hand to my chin and thought about it for a second. "To be honest I had never really considered the question. I mean I'm sure one day I'm going to meet someone and we're going to settle down. However I've never put any more thought into it than that." I said looking at her.

"Well why not?" She asked looking at me.

"I guess it's because there's no way of knowing who that someone is. I said I'm sure I'll meet someone and I'm sure I'll settle down with someone however there's no accurate way of knowing who they are so I guess I'll just have to be patient." I said looking at her.

"Oh I see well how do you plan on telling this someone you like them?" She asked looking at me.

I paused for a moment thinking of an answer. I honestly couldn't see me confessing to anyone that I like probably for the sole reason I didn't like anyone at the moment. "I don't know." I said looking at her.

"What do you mean?" She asked looking at me confused.

"Well it's just that because of who I am and what I have going on I don't see myself making the first move. In fact if anything I think I'd prefer it if they made the first move. Take some of the guessing work out of the relationship." I said looking at her.

"So you'd want them to confess to you?" She asked looking at me.

"Yeah I guess you could in a way consider it a type of test. If they're brave enough to ask me out then I'll date them and see where things go from there. If things work out great if not oh well." I said looking at her.

When I said this she nodded and looked as if she was thinking about something for a little bit. However she was soon brought out of her thoughts and pointed in front of us. "Looks like we're here." She said looking at me.

"Go ahead and go inside. I'll be in there in just a mintue. I have to make a phone call first." I said looking at her and she nodded. She then walked into the building and pulled out my phone.

When I thought about it being in a relationship didn't sound so bad. So I called my guy that knew pretty much everything. When he picked up the phone I heard him sigh. "What is it boss?"

"Can you tell me the names of all the single women in our organization?" I asked looking at the phone.

"All the single women are . . . Amelia, Sally, Ivy, Elizabeth, and Emerald." He said looking at me.

"Thanks Jackie I owe you one." I said hanging up. Emerald's single huh? Well lets see if I can't change that.
