People complaining about cliches is probably really annoying, cos everyone does it, BUT IT'S TRUE.
Most of them aren't even interesting. I can list a couple, off the top of my head, where I have read at LEAST five stories containing the same thing.
1 - They were best friends before X Factor, then he left her behind and forgot about her for two years. Then they bump into each other at Starbucks and recognise each other
2 - She is a hater or non-fan of the bandand was dragged along to their signing/concert by her best friend. They bump into the boys there
3 - She was Simon Cowell's niece/daughter/other relative/adopted daughter and meets them through him
4 - She was singing somewhere/on the X Factor and Simon Cowell decided to sign her
5 - She is a younger sister of one of the lads. The rest of the band gets banned from dating her but they do it anyways
6 - They are vampires and her blood smells particularly tasty. However, for some reason he resists the urge to bite her
7 - Set in a high school, One Direction compete against each other to take her virginity
8 - They meet her at a signing, think "wow, she's different from the rest" for no apparent reason and give her their number
9 - She works at Nando's and Niall comes in as one of the customers
10 - She's suicidal, somehow they notice her and she visits the hospital at least fifty times each chapter
Okay, I think that's it for now. Don't worry, I'll add more later :3
I just really want you guys to stop making those. I mean, some people do pull them off really well, and who doesn't enjoy a good cliche every now and then? But seriously. If you don't know how to pull off something like that, add in your own twist. People like twists. Twists are good. :D
