Chapter 5

Niall's POV

I got up off the floor and went upstairs in search of Cassie. I have to find her. I just want to get to know her betters I saw her last night while I was on my balcony thinking of a new song idea. She looked... Well beautiful. As I'm looking for her room I see that all the doors are a different color... There's purple, pink, blue, white, and black. That's when I hear music coming from the room with the black door. Is this her room? I open the door and find it empty. Damn it... But then I notice the closet doors open and there's a light on in it. I walk towards the door and a box lands a few feet in front of me. I smile knowing I found her.

Cassie's POV

As I'm putting my SnapBacks away when I hear someone clear their throat behind me. I jump and spin around to find Niall standing in the door way.

"Did I scare you?" He asks with a smirk.

'No. What are you doing in here?"

"Looking for you..." He says like it's obvious.

"Well here I am... Just why were you looking for me?"

"I wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Oh" cue my smile.

"Yeah. Uh... Do you want some help?"

"If you want to..."

"I'd be glad to." By now both of us are smiling. "You have a lot of snapbacks."

"Yeah.... I just love them!"

"I can tell." He laughs putting on my wolf hat I got from Hot Topic.

"Awwwwww you look so cute!" I laugh putting my panda one on.

"Says the adorable panda."

I blush. Taking the hat off him and putting it on the shelf.

--------a few hours later-------

We goofed around laughed a lot and finally were done putting them away. I payed on my bed exhausted as Niall did the same. "I'm hungry." We said in union causing us to burst out laughing again. After we calmed down enough I said, "how about we get something to eat."

"Good idea." He got up and grabbed my hand pulling me up. I swear when our hands connected it felt like electricity was shooting through my veins. We headed down stairs but we hadn't realized we were still hand in hand until there was a chorus of 'awwww's and one 'ew'. I blushed pulling my hand back. Ignoring the teasing I made my way to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and started pulling out food. "So. What are you planing on making us?" Niall's voice says in my ear causing me to jump. I slap his chest.

"Don't scare me like that! And I was thinking sandwiches."

"Sorry and sandwiches sound good to me."

I laughed "everything sounds good to you Horan."

"Not true!" He retorts.

"Oh what ever."

"Did I win?"

I sigh. "Yes you won."

"YAY!"

"Just shut up and eat Nialler." I hand him his food. He takes a huge bite- and I mean HUGE!- and slightly moans. "Damn love what CAN'T you do!? I mean you sin play guitar and can cook!"

I just laugh "there's a lot of things I can't do..."

"You two are just too cute!" Alyssa says coming from nowhere.

"Yeah..." Louis says next to her sounding... Sad?

"Totes a couple."

"We're not a couple." I tell them.

"What ever you say kitty cat what ever you say." Al laughs. I finish my food and smack her across the back of her head. Going into the living room. I walk in to see the group watching a horror movie. Sami and Harry are too busy making out to notice anything. While Erica and Zayn are all cuddled up. Erica's face is buried in his chest while his arms are around her. AWWWW Zayn's protecting her!!!! Liam is holding J while she watches it with wide eyes. I sit down on the empty chair and start to watch the movie. Alyssa, Lou, and Ni come in. Niall doesn't get a chair cause Alyssa and Louis took the last spot open. He's about to sit on the door when I stand up. "Here Niall take my seat."

"But where would you sit?"

"On the floor." I say in a duh tone.

"Or..." He sits down and grabs me by the waist and sits me in his lap. "We could do this." He whispers in my ear.

"O-okay." I blush deeply. I can feel someone's glare the while time this is happening... What the hell? I must be imagining things.

Half way through the movie and I'm literally freaking out. I bury my face in Niall's shoulder. He wraps his arms around me.

"Are you really that scared?" He chuckles. You can practically hear the smirk.

"Yeah! I am!"

He kisses the top of my head, "don't worry I'll protect you."

"Thanks Ni." I hug him.

"No problem princess." He says hugging me back.

"Did you just call me princess?"

"Yeah... I guess I did." He laughs nervously suddenly becoming interested in his hands.

"Okay then prince Nialler of the potatoes." I smile trying to lighten the mood. It seems to work cause he laughs and looks at me.

"Of the potatoes? Seriously?" He says smiling.

"Yup."

His sparkling blue eyes meet my hazel. Without realizing it we were leaning in. Damn I wanna kiss him. Did I really just think tha- My thought gets cut off by a pair of lips meeting mine. I freeze but kiss back before he could notice my pause. Is it weird to say I felt sparks? Like seriously. We pulled away both of us smiling. I blush and hide my face in his neck. He rubs circles on my back. Then I hear him sigh. "Cassie..."

"Yeah?"

"I won't be able to be around for a few weeks...."

"Why?"

"We're going to start recording again...."

"Oh. Okay."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

"Good." He kisses the top of my head again. Looks like things are gonna get weird....
