Chapter 15

Cassie's POV

It's been a few weeks since the party the girls threw me. Let me just say that that has been the only time I've been actually happy since the breakup with 'him'.

I sit in my room with the door locked blaring Evanescence and eating. It's something that keeps me from breaking down. Amy Lee just has a way of saying that you're not alone through her songs. I sing along to Everybody's Fool and let my emotions flow through my voice.

I'm interrupted by someone knocking on my door. Well, more like pounding. I sigh and get up. I turn the music down and then open the door. Louis' standing at there and smiles at me.

"Hey Louis...."

"Hey love, mind if I come in?"

"I guess not." I step aside and he comes in. He looks around and notices how messy it is.

"Have you left your room?"

"Yeah... Just didn't feel like cleaning... Plus I haven't let anyone in my room since..." I fade off as he knows what I mean.

He hugs me and I hug him back.

"How about we clean it up?"

"You'd do that?"

"Of course. I get to spend time with you."

I blush at his comment. "Okay."

"Good." He smiles and starts to put all of my trash in the trash can. Note to self: clean up next time. You look like you live with pigs.

I start to put my clothes in the hamper and hum to the song that is currently playing in the background.

Once I'm done I look to see Louis still picking up trash and I sigh. I had that much crap? Without thinking I go over and hug him from behind. He drops the trash and laughs.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothin'...." I say as I let go of him.

"Why'd you let go?"

"It's kinda hard to hug someone when they can't hug back." I say in a 'duh' tone.

"Well then." He pulls me into a bear hug and I hug back. Louis makes me happy... Why? I don't know.

He picks me up and spins me around a little causing me to giggle and a smile finds it's way on my face.

"THERE'S THAT SMILE!" he shouts as he smiles.

"Haha put me down Lou."

"No!" He says and throws me over his shoulder. De Ja Vu?

"Let me go!"

"Fine." He sighs and sits me down on my bed. Then, he sits next to me.

I lay my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around my waist. I stiffen at first but relax before he can notice.

"There's a fair going on would you like to go? With me?" He asks nervously.

I look at him and smile. "I'd love to go Lou."

"GREAT! I'll pick you up at 7 then we can go."

"Okay!" I smile. I look at the clock and it reads 4. I have plenty of time.

Louis gets up and heads for the door.

"Where ya goin'?" I ask.

"Home. I've got stuff to do before it's time." He replies with a smile.

"Oh okay. Ill see you soon." I say and give him another hug. He hugs back and kisses my cheek.

"See you later beautiful." He winks and leaves.

I smile and happily sigh as I think about the fair. I can't wait. I haven't been to a fair for years.

I decide to get ready even though I have plenty of time. I take a quick shower and throw on my (naturally) ripped skinny jeans that have maybe a few mud and paint splatters on them along with a Batman tee. Ya I know what you're thinking Batman??? Really??? But hey I love Batman! I mean who doesn't!? I put on my usual makeup which makes my hazel eyes just a little darker but bigger. Finally I put on my high tops. I can't go without wearing them. It's like my life. Don't judge. I brush my hair, straighten it, and make it all poofy. Honestly I look hot.

I head downstairs with an hour left till its time to go. I see everyone but Louis in the living room. All eyes are on me.

"Someone looks nice." Erica comments.

"Thanks."

"Where are you going looking like that?" Harry asks.

"Out... To the fair."

"With who?" Sami asks.

"What is this? Interrogate Cassie day?"

"No, we're just curious." Zayn says.

I fake gasp.

"What?"

"You talked to me!"

"Yeah?"

I smirk. "Sorry I'm happy, I'm weird when I'm happy."

"At least you're happy.." I hear someone mutter. I look in the direction of the voice to see Niall with red eyes and a tired expression. He's looking at the ground and I can't help but wonder why he looks the way he does.

Suddenly Louis walks in. He's carrying a lily and looks pretty hot.

"Hey everyone!" He smiles.

"Hey Lou. Who's the flower for?" Liam asks.

"You'll see." He says and walks over to me placing the flower behind my ear. I blush and hear a few 'aw's and one 'ew'. Louis rolls his eyes and whispers in my ear. "A beautiful lily for a beautiful girl." This causes me to blush even more.

Right after he says that I hear our front door slam. I look to see Niall no longer with the group. I sigh.

"I'll be right back." I mumble and go outside I'm search of Niall. I can believe I'm doing this.
