Stowaway

After changing I stepped in front of the mirror with the other girls. I felt skinny with the bikini... And cold too.

" Oh mi gawd! You look so pretty." Ada said, admiring my skinny self.

I blushed.

" Oh my God..." Nuela stepped into the room, " Why didn't you tell us that you had such skinny legs? I could've bought you skinny jeans."

I smiled as the others pooled over me. No one ever told me I was pretty, maybe it was because I had to wear a school uniform before which was as dull as everyone else. But here... I'm a shining star.

We went down and saw the guys also in swimsuits and they were waiting for us at the end of the corridor.

" Wow..." They all said in unison.

We all headed out to the beach and was just in time for the sunset.

" Selfie time guy!" Nuela yelled.

We all crowded in front of the camera and took a photo of all of us standing in front of the setting sun. After the photo all of the assigned couples took their favourite spot on the beach and simply enjoyed the view.

" So it's just you and me now. " Nathan said as we settled on a huge rock beside the sea.

It was the tallest place we could look at the lands below. I saw my house and our school.

" Look. " He pointed at the highest point of the hill in which we were sitting on. " Let's go there for a while, but please put on some clothes."

We laughed and rushed back to their house to change into something more manageable. After changing we found Nuela and Louie inside drinking something.

" Oh hi." Nuela said, looking a bit drunk.

" Where are you going?" Louie asked us, eyeing Nathan.

" We're just going someplace more quiet." I told him.

He raised his brow and Nuela said that they would come with us.

" She just wants to makeout with Louie on the hill to make you jealous." Nathan whispered to me.

I nodded and told them that they could come with us.

We arrived on the hill and it was almost midnight. The moon was high on its peak, the stars shined around us.

" Isabelle?" Nathan whispered, not ruining the silence.

" Mmm?"

He hugged me tightly and planted a kiss on my mouth.

" I wish I had the courage to do that earlier."

Silence.

" Will you be my girlfriend."

More silence.

I saw Louie staring at us.

" I know that we only met for a while but I really want this to happen... I... Love you."

I smiled at him and hugged him tighter.

" I love you too."

Our eyes met, and we kissed for the second time.

I felt light and happy at that time. It was my first kiss and it was the most wonderful thing I've ever done. I felt myself getting as red as a beetroot.

" Should we go somewhere to grab dinner?" Nathan asked me softly, his lips touching my ear. " We could put that dress of yours to use."

I nodded and we ventured into the darkness, hand in hand, heart by heart.
