-Max-
"Maybe." I admitted."Max. You can't be serious. Why would you be afraid of me seeing it?"
"I don't know I just am."
"Max. I'm the last person you should be afraid to show something that's important to you." Chloe said walking closer towards me grabbing my hands.
"Chloe-..."
"Max your fine...don't be afraid of me." Chloe said as she slowly pulled my hands toward her and slowly grabbed the photos out of my hands. I studied her face as she studied my photos. My heart was beating fast in my chest.
Say something Chloe.
I began to breathe again when I saw a smile extend across her face.
"These are so fucking sweet." She smiled as she kept looking back and forth between each one.
"Really?" I smiled.
"Of course Max. These makes you look like a professional photographer. But then again you are." She said smiling at me.
"Thanks Chloe."
"I knew they would be great." I couldn't help but hug Chloe.
"You're great." I said in her shoulder.
"I know I am." She said smugly.
"Way to ruin it." I said as I pushed her away.
"You're welcome." She chuckled
"Did you enjoy the art show."
"Yeah it was cute to see you at work."
"I aim to please."
"I'm sure you do." Chloe said as she looked at my camera.
"You wanna try Chloe?" I asked as I lifted my camera.
"No way I'll leave the photo shit to you."
"Come on it's fun." I said pushing the camera towards her.
"Max I don't wanna waste you film." Chloe said placing her hands against the camera.
"Come on Chloe. Just one picture." I pleaded.
She stared at me for a while before replying.
"Fine." She sighed.
"Yes!" I said excited. "Okay director what do you want to do?"
"Lemme think." Chloe said holding my camera in one hand and her chin with the other.
Chloe looked so adorable in her thinking state.
"Okay..." Chloe said looking all around. "I want you to step on one side of the rails." Chloe said pointing at the tracks.
"Yes director." I said as I followed her directions.
She studied my camera before pressing buttons I watched her as she carefully placed it on the tracks.
"Okay Max I'm going to run it by a timer and I'm going to run over there and walk on the other track okay?" Chloe said her finger placed on my camera.
"Okay do you want me to do anything?" I asked.
"Ummm just walk slowly and extend your arms to the sides." Chloe said as she demonstrated.
"Okay." I said as I mimicked her.
She finally put out her smoke before squatting down by my camera again.
"Okay ready?"
"Ready."
"3. 2. 1." Chloe said as she pushed the button and ran over towards me she stepped on the other tracks before walking next to me. I almost lost my balance but Chloe quickly grabbed my hand and at that moment the camera snapped the photo.
"Shit I hope I didn't mess it up."
"I'm sure it's fine." Chloe said as she jogged over towards the camera. She brought my camera and picture over to me.
"This is better then what I pictured." Chloe smiled as she showed me the picture.
(AN:Picture above)
I studied the photo and smiled.
"This is great Chloe." I praised her.
"Right! It's pretty good for my first picture."
"This is your first photo?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah. Photography's not my thing remember? Well actually I think after this photo it might be." Chloe smirked.
"I'm glad your part of the photography side... Or the dark side because you know we have dark rooms for developing." I laughed.
"You hella gay for that." Chloe laughed.
"I am."
"Dang it already looks late." Chloe said looking around. "What time is it."
I looked at my phone in my pocket before answering. "6:24."
"Time flies while your having hella fun."
"It does." I agreed.
"I should probably take you back to your dorms huh?" Chloe said sounding bum.
"Sadly yeah I have a lot of homework I didn't do." I said sounding equally bummed.
"Okay let's go." Chloe said wrapping her arm around my shoulder.
"Back to Blackwell." I groaned.
"'More like Blackhell." Chloe corrected.
"Pretty much."
We slowly walked back to Chloe's truck and she slowly drove back to Blackwell but it still felt way too short. It felt like we were back at my school within seconds.
"Do you have to go?" Chloe groaned.
"Yeah you heard my GPA I can't slack off anymore." I sighed.
"Boo."
"I know. But text me whenever you're bored." I told Chloe.
"Then I'll be texting you often." Chloe chuckled.
"I guess you will." I laughed back as I unbuckled my seat belt and scooted over to hug Chloe.
"Later Maxwell."
"Later Shaka brah."
"Get the fuck out of my truck." She chuckled.
"You weren't saying that a few minutes ago."
"Whatever Max." She said as I exited her car.
I smiled and waved at Chloe and she smiled back before driving off. I turned around and looked at my school.
"Home shit home." I said quoting Chloe before walking toward my dorms.
