"And another point for the Denver Outlaws!" Boy'd laughed, imitating the over excited coach from today's final, "A beautiful catch by the one and only Scott McCall! HE SHOOTS AND SCORES! 17-6 to th-"

"The Outlaws steal the title for a fifth year running!" I finished his sentence and threw my fist in the air, causing the whole team to burst into a roar of cheering and whistles.

"And next season we'll take the record!"

"Wiping the smirk off Jackson Whittemore's face" I grinned, "I wonder how it feels to be the captain of the loosing team again"

"You wouldn't know the feeling" Boy'd slapped my back, "I can't believe we went to high school with that douche"

"I still can't believe we acknowledged his existence" I sat down on my leather couch as my teammates ran around my huge penthouse apartment I was renting until I found a good place to settle in.

"High school had it's ups and downs..." Boy'd nodded, clearly referring to my ex girlfriend, Allison Argent. It's been so long that I barely rembut this is the big leagues and all the cheerleaders and models you could ever want are right on your doorstep. Literally, Bobby just called some"

"Okay, okay buddy, go get wasted" I chuckled, pushing him towards the fridge.

"If I wake up duck taped to a pole naked again I'm holding you responsible!" He shouted as he strolled off.

I shook my head with a chuckle as Cora Hale my PA strutted into the room in her tight black suit and skirt, earning a few whistles from the guys around the pool table.

"Mr. McCall" she addressed me, not looking up from her iPad, "You have a message from a Miss Lydia Martin? She said she's an old friend from high school"

I shot out of my seat and walked over to her, "Yeah, she was Allison's best friend, Stiles had a huge crush on her and stuff"

"All due respect, but I have no idea what a 'Stiles' is" she muttered, flicking onto her emails, "Anyways, she has requested that you are her date to the wedding of Isaac Lahey and Allison Argent"

My heart sunk and I ran my hand through my hair. Allison left me after I got scouted for a lacrosse scholarship, she was already going to Stanford and she knew the distance would destroy us... I never knew she had a thing with Isaac after I left, and I sure as hell didn't think I'd be a plus one to her wedding with Lydia... I shouldn't go. Allison would kill me, literally, she used to be amazing at archery.

"Mr McCall, the wedding is in two days, I can book the flight to California now if you wish" she sighed, "Miss Martin says it's very important you come"

I groaned and gave Cora a sheepish nod, "I wouldn't... Miss it for the world..."

The doorbell to Lydia's home sounded as I let out a sigh. I still wasn't sure why I was doing this, and I still had to rent a A-lister tux or whatever, call Cora and tell her to set up a flight for the Monday, and drop by Stiles. The only thing I've actually managed to do is get myself a decent car, it was one of those older models of Lamborghini, not like the one I had back home, but Cora said it was the best she could do on such short notice. At least she'd sorted out for a tux to be driven down to me, I don't think I can handle buying one from Macy's.

"One second!" I heard Lydia yell as she opened the door.

"Hey..." I smiled nervously as she gasped.

"You came!" She beamed, dragging me inside just like she used to, "I thought you were going to be to busy with lacrosse or with some supermodel or princess. But you're actually here!"
