Scene: You've been living in Seoul for a while and You've had a bad day at work and to make things worse you forgot your umbrella. It's pouring down rain and you're wearing a white t-shirt. You didn't even remember to bring a jacket AND your boyfriend just dumped you! Today is officially the worst day of your life!
Aiiissshhhh! Why is this happening to me!! On a day like THIS none the less! I've only been here a freakin MONTH and already stuff is happening to me! Today was supposed to be a good day. It was our one month anniversary but instead of bringing me flowers he sends me a TEXT saying "its not me it's you but truthfully it IS you." That stupid grrrr. I knew I should've told the corporate to station me in Spain but my love for this country is so great I couldn't turn it down. I sighed. How am I supposed to get through without wetting my t-shirt and showing my bra? Man, I officially hate casual days at work now...I looked left and right but the rain was everywhere! Should I just walk with my arms folded across my chest? Or run for it? Or should I haul a cab? It's worth a shot right? Okay, here goes nothing! Ill make a run for it! I swung the door open and began to run but the back of my shirt got caught in the door.
*RRRRIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPP*
My eyes widened. Oh shit. I looked back to see my shirt all stretched out and torn. I covered myself up. Oh my gosh! What do I do now?!! I snatched it off the ground and tied it on to cover my chest. A strapless top if you will. At least it didn't rip while I was running in the rain. Nobody was paying attention either since everyone was in a hurry to get home. Okay let's try this again. I dashed out into the crowd and ran as fast as I could.
I started to get stares from the people I passed. I mean who wouldn't notice a woman wearing a ripped t-shirt made to look like a strapless top soaking wet with her bra showing threw and running in the rain? The men were the ones stopping. It was like they made room right across the middle just to see me pass by. Idiots. I was starting to get tired. I had to stop somewhere! But where? I shivered but kept running and looked around. Hmm, that building! It even has like an alley looking thing so I should be okay there. I crossed the street not even waiting for the light to change. There was nobody standing there, perfect! I can squeeze the water from my shirt...if you can even call it that. I let my hair down. It wasn't too wet. Just a bit damp. I squeezed the bottom of the shirt down but didn't dare taking it off. It's bad enough my red and black bra was showing. I sighed. My jeans felt skin tight...literally. I hugged myself and rubbed my arms. I leaned against the wall and stared at the ground.
"Excuse me"
I looked up.
"Are you okay?"
Who's that? He's pretty cute. What should I say?
"Ms?" He asked.
"No, umm not really. Sorry, is this private property?" I asked.
"We'll not really. It's actually a music/entertainment business building. Cube Entertainment to be exact." He smiled. "What happened to you?"
Cube Entertainment? "Well lets just say today has not been my day." I explained.
"Sounds like a shit day. Do you need a ride home? I was just leaving to the grocery store." He said.
I don't even know this guy. But it beats standing here. "If it's not too much trouble but umm...I wouldn't want to ruin your car. I'm soaking wet and well...I'm cold. If you know what I mean." I looked at my chest and folded my arms hiding them. I was wearing the wrong type of bra too.
He blushed a little. "It's no trouble at all. I can get you clothes if you want." He said a little embarrassed.
"I don't want to be a bother, really." I said.
