Chapter 5

When hearts collide

Teagan’s POV

He pressed his lips to mine gently , and moved them slightly. They felt just like the inside of a rose.  We pulled apart and everyone in the crowd cheered and clapped. He grabbed my hand and we ran down the white strip of carpet, trying not to pelted with rice and flower peddles. “ Teagan I lov-“ And then I woke up.

I was going to kill the bug that interrupted my dream, but when I sat up it was only Eden standing there with Carmen fully dressed.

I looked at the alarm clock on the night stand and it read 7:19 am. Omg I’m so going to be late for school.

“Edeeennn, why didn’t you wake me!?!?” I sighed. “ And what the hell is Carmen doing here?” I glared at the two of them ,  Then realization hit me like a brick. “ Carmen you stayed here last night!!!” she blushed and couldn’t meet my eyes. “ OMG , I knew it !!! Eden out NOW! Carmen and I need to talk.” I said pointing at the door and raising an eyebrow at her.

Eden left the room and I patted the bed for Carmen to sit. I got up and started getting dressed since I showered the night before. “Sooo, did you guy you know…?”

“ No Teag’s I swear!”  She said quickly. I could see the truth in her eyes and I knew that they didn’t. “We just layed there, he didn’t try anything. He even slept on top of the blanket.” Her smile was so huge and she looked happy, not her usual tomboy, tough girl self.

“ I believe you C”  she relaxed a bit. “Did you kiss him!” I pushed my lips to the side. We both stared at each other and started laughing historically.

I finished getting dressed, and made my way to school. Carmen rode with Eden so I was all alone. But I liked the Silence , It gave me time to think.

I walked through the threshold of the school and welcomed the air that breathed in my face. Carmen and Eden met me at my locker along with Cara and Nonnie. Apparently the new gossip of the school is Mr. Manning and how plush he is. Like seriously calm down , I don’t think the guy wants anymore groupies.

Josh walked past us but didn’t look me in the eye. I don’t even know what I seen in this guy to make me actually go out with him. OH  Yeah ,,, A bunch of bullshit!! I rolled my eyes at his presence.

“What the hell happened to Josh’s eye?” Nonnie asked.

Carmen and I glanced at each other and started laughing. I didn’t know what to say, I mean I’m not harsh enough to tell them that Carmen knocked him out.

“Lets just say he ran into a door for the time being.” Mr. Manning said unexpectingly. I totally forgot that my locker was right outside of his classroom. “ And Viola , I had to move your afterschool detention to lunch detention today , I have errands to run after so just be in my class at 12:15 . Don’t be late.”

“ummm Mr. Manning , my name is Teag-“  He cut me off , raising his hand dismissing me and walking back into the room.

“What the hell is stuck up his ass?” Cara gasped.
