Violet was now fourteen years old. Clay was fifteen-about sixteen-years old.
"Good morning sunshine!" Clay said ruffling Violet's bed-head.
Giggling Violet stretched. Then she said, " Unroll I brush my teeth I am not sunshine." She got up to brush her teeth. Clay flopped on her bead but something was under his back.
"What is this?" He asked then pulled it from underneath his back.
"Oh my gosh! Put that down!" Violet shrilled. He had picked up a red bra with black lace.
"Woah, if this is what your bras look like I'd love to see your underwear too." Clay joked swinging the bra around on his pointer finger.
Violet grabbed for it but Clay kept it out of her reach. "Give it to me now!" Violet commanded frustrated. When she did it flew from Clay's hand to Violet's hand. They both sat there and stared.
"I didn't expect her powers to develope so fast." Clay thought in his head.
"Agree not to address that?" Violet suggested.
"Agreed." Clay consented. They shifted around awkwardly.
"Well I'm going to get in the shower. You can wait here or go somewhere. Your choice. But you'll have to turn around when I get out the shower if your planning on staying." Violet informed him.
"Ok cutie." Clay responded with a wink. She went into the the bathroom accidentally not closing the door.
Clay could see her through the crack. She was taking off her shirt. She was wearing a black lace bra that slightly pushed up her breast. Now she was now taking of her pj pants. "Sh*t b*ner! Ok I can't keep watching." Clay thought.
He stretched his arm out in front of him. He made a fist slowly and the door closed. It was too suddle for Violet to have noticed. Violet took her shower got out and got dressed. She was about yo do something that would change the course of her future... "Clay, I want to leave the room. I kind of miss my classes and all the other orphans."
Clay burst into laughter. "I haven't been able to get you out of this damn room for two tears and now on some random whim you want to leave?!" Still filled with emotions Clay then said, "bullsh*t! If you're making a joke it isn't funny."
Frowning Violet furrowed her eyebrows. "Dammit Clay! I'm not making a joke so shut up and stop assuming. Now I'm going to leave this room today whether you're with me or not. Is that a problem?" Violet fumed.
Thinking for a second he said, "okay. I'm sorry. But if you start to feel uncomfortable for even the slightest second you had better tell me and we'll leave immediately. No, ifs, ands, or buts about it."
"Okay okay! Let's go!" Violet said with real enthusiasm. They exited her room heading toward Clay's closest friend Matthew's room. As they walked Violet's heart pounded.
"Hey yo Matt! This my beautifull girlfriend Violet." Clay introduced as he and Violet walked in.
"Dude... you said she was super cute. You lied... she smoking hot. I mean look at her. The flowing hair, the full lips, the blue eyes, thick eyelashes, the-the curves. Oh my God the curves. Imaging her with out clothes is totally giving me a b-" Matthew was cut off.
"If you finish that sentence im going to kill. And it's not a threat its a promise." Clay threatened.
"Okay! Geez! Well if you guys are up to it there's a spring break party in the CB Crate." Matthew offered trying to lighten the mood.
"I don't think so... Violet' s never been to a party. Plus she's like two years younger than me. I think it'd be too much." Clay answered.
"I know you don't think that I'm just going to lay down and take that when you just spoke for me as if I don't have a voice. I've gone through way too much crap for you to start. Now I'm going to that party alone or not. So don't act like you control because you wouldn't like me when im mad. So back off." Violet exploded.
"Sh*t I'm sorry baby. I of all people should know better. Sorry." He gave Violet a big hug trying to butter her up. As he did so Matthew whispered to Clay...
"Dude her eyes changed colours when she was yelling at you. They went to purple then red."
"I know. I saw. She has mood ring eyes." Clay lied.
"Sure if you say so." Matthew said not fully convinced.
Violet let go of Clay. "Well let's get going!" Violet smiled seeming a bit bipolar.
They all walked down the hallway. Took a few turns. And then they arrived. There was a big glass door. Inside Violet could see flashing lights, couches, people, dancing and so much more.
"Woah!" Violet breathed.
"Welcome to your first party," Clay shouted over the music then someone threw him a microphone, "come on guys. Let's show her how Hecker' s does it!"
Suddenly all the lights, the bass dropped, and glow bands shined. Violet jaw was of the floor. Before she could say anything people were giving her glow-in-the-dark jewlery. Before she could starting thinking she was dancing, laughing, and joking with people who used to look at her funny. She was having a great time. She could feel her stress melting away. She let bygones be bygones. She was where she was supposed to be and she was... at least that what she thought. But nothing ever goes right for Violet for an extended amount of time. Deep in her gut she knew something was going to go wrong... TERRIBLY wrong. She knew she should leave but she was having such a good time with Clay and her fast New friends. It was a BIG mistake.
"Its about that time in the party where we crown our Spring Breaker Couple! The people who have partied hard and have been a big topic will do us the honour of being our princess and Prince of Spring Break!" Jessica announced.
The music stopped and turned into a drum roll. Everyone had their eyes on Jessica. From what Violet Could tell this was a big honour.
"From watching the party and hearing the gossip our Breaker Princess is Violet Smith!" Jessica pronounced.
The crowd burst into cheers and applauds. Violets eyes looked like headlights. Her heart was beating like an 808 drum as she walked to Jessica.
"For the first time ever our Spring Breakers are a couple. This year our Breaker Prince is the bad boy Clay Viper!" Jessica revealed.
The crowd burst into another fit of clapping and yelling. Clay whispered into Jessica's ear and then she gave him the microphone.
"I'm sorry to inform you that you got your information wrong. Violet and I are not a couple. We haven't even DTRed yet. But... not to worry. I'm going to do that right now!" Clay cheered.
He pulled a ring out of his pocket. It was a silver band with Violet' s name engraved on it. It had two real diamonds and in between the sparkling diamond was an amethyst.
"Oh my God!" Violet gasped.
"Violet Amy Smith with this ring is a promise that I love you and always will. I will never hurt you or do wrong as long as I live. And I promise that my main duty will be to make you happy. Also because I don't need you because I love you, I love you because I need you," Clay paused, "and with exception of of this ring you will be making the same promise."
"Of course! How could I say no?" Violet said tearing up.
Sliding the ring on her finger Clay hugged her literally sweeping her off her feet. Then they kissed. It was passionate, hot, steamy and longing. They kissed each other like it was the last time they were ever going to see each other. Like they were hungry for each other. It was savage yet beautiful. But finally they broke apart when something flashed on a screen behind them. Something bad...
