Before I begin, let me apoligise for how late this chapter is, I have been very busy during the past few weeks and Wattpad hasn't been co-operating with me. It hasn't been uploading when I press "publish". I am terribly ashamed at myself though. Sorry guys, but to make it up, here is an extra long chapter for you! Enjoy! From, @snke88

Ten more miles to go! Checking the time and the miles I had ran, I continued running at a faster pace than usual on the treadmill. Panting, I sipped my water bottle and concentrated on the motivating music being drummed into my earphones.
I signed up for the gym this morning, I was going to be in Detroit for quite a while, so I figured I better be getting back to my usual schedule as if I was back home in New York.
Mine and Marshall's date was tonight, our third date, the date that determines most relationships and what will happen between us in the future. I wonder where he'd be taking me, I tried reeling it out of him during the ride home on Thursday! He was having none of it!
Marshall drove all the way to the inner city to make sure that I was going to be safe last night. I liked that about him, he's caring.
Friday went by considerably slow. I left work earlier than the previous days. Working from nine to nine for four days was a lot and I needed a Friday evening rest.
I spoke to Marshall on Friday and made another attempt to get him to reveal where we were going. But he remained stubborn.
It approached one o' clock on Saturday and I proceeded to get ready for our date. I had my outfit pressed and hung up in the closet since yesterday.
I wore a knee length jade green dress with gold detail. It was a simple outfit, with little to no jewellery, but my wardrobe was limited to mainly office wear and evening clothing.
I hung my simple gold loops from my ears and arranged my hair in an updo with a couple of curls by my face.
It was a warm day, so I applied less make up than usual. A nude lipstick, a little mascara and cream eye shadow.
I finished getting ready and slipped on my jade coloured flat shoes to complete me.
It turned 3:10 and a knock began on the suite door rapidly. I opened it and found Marshall stood in a pair cream shorts, a bright white t shirt and a grey hoodie tossed over his arm. His sobriety necklace was hung around his neck and the charm was tucked under, so just the glistening thin silver chain was seen.
He panted and apologised for being late. He reached out his hand, I took it and he pulled me in for a kiss.
We kissed tenderly and briefly before he broke off to speak.
"You got everything. Your keycard? Phone?"
"Yep", I assured. Gesturing to my cream bag over my shoulder.
Shutting the door, I heard the lock beep and we proceeded towards the elevator and slipped out of the lobby quickly to avoid being recognised.
He opened the car door for me and I entered, a red blanket thrown over a box shaped object in the back seat caught my eyes and heightened my curiosity.
I ignored my nosey urges and decided not to ask. I didn't want to be rudely persistent. He drove for about half an hour. I had no idea where we were but the area was luscious green, a pleasant change from the usual grey by where I was staying.
He pulled up into the parking lot and we both exited the car.
Pulling open the back door, his hands reached over and grasped the red material over the box. He pulled it off and underneath was a woven basket.
