Jade's POV

I quickly typed in Perrie's number. I bit my nails anxiously as I wait for Perrie to pick up the phone. Moments later I finally heard a raspy voice on the other side of the phone. The one I've been wanting to hear.

"Hello?"

"Hi Perrie, it's Jade." I introduced myself. There was a silence for a solid minute through the phone call.

"Are you going to answer me or not?" I asked, chuckling.

"Oh, Jade? Hi..." Perrie replied, shyly. I bit my lip, preventing a laugh to escape from my mouth.

"I never thought your voice sounded like that." I said, smirking. Perrie's voice was deep and sounded a lot like my geordie accent.

"What do I sound like?" She asked.

"Sexy." I said, earning a chuckle from her.

"Never thought your voice sounded that geordie, to be honest." She said, in between laughs.

"Most people think I'm foreign because of that." I said, shaking my head. There was a sudden pause on the line, I'm trying my best to think how to break that silence.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I asked, biting my lower lip.

"Sure, anything."

I took a deep breath before I began to talk. Hearing Perrie breathe through the phone sent a shiver down my spine. It may be hard for me to believe it, but I'm slowly realizing I'm talking to the girl I'm into for a long time now. I pushed all the nervousness I feel aside before speaking.

"I like you. I really do." I began. I started to play with my fingers, my eyes staring at the ceiling. "And I was hoping you feel the same towards me too."

My anxiety was already eating me up, wishing I just said something else instead of declaring my love for a girl I met on Twitter.

"Is that your way of declaring your love for me?" She asked, giggling.

"If you put it that way, then yes." I said, smiling. "So any violent reaction or something?"

"No not really. Is there a contract where I sign stating that I feel the same way? Just for confirmation." She said. If the my lips were paper it would rip up from how wide I'm smiling right now.

"Just a marriage contract, but we'll get through that soon eventually." I said, earning a laugh from her. "But you know what? I feel happy when I talk to you. Really happy. I couldn't explain it, I just know that you make me feel that I'm capable of loving somebody. And it's you."

"Is this the part where we kiss?" She asked.

"Yes, if we aren't in a freaking phone call." I said, "Can I say something weird?"

"You're already the definition of weird--"

"I love you."

In just two seconds, those three words escaped from my mouth. Deep down I know I don't regret saying it to Perrie.

"I love you too."
