The four girls spent the whole day watching classic Christmas films and eating Jade’s fattening cookies as Jesy says, in the living room. Perrie wondered how could Jade live in such a huge house all to herself? Does Jade get lonely? Perrie wonders. Home Alone was playing on the screen and they were all in fits of laughter. Perrie felt Jade’s arm wrapped around her waist and Jade’s head was resting on Perrie’s shoulder. Perrie relaxed into Jade’s comfort and focused her attention on the film. She still feels hesitant towards Jade. She wonders if Jade felt the same way as she does. To be honest, Jade felt the same way too. Both of them were wary and careful with every move around each other. They have no label, and they were concerned if it was okay to act like a girlfriend around each other. Jade or neither did Perrie asked if they wanted to be together. But to Perrie being next to Jade was enough, they were happy and that’s all that matters right now.

Hours had passed and it suddenly occurred to Perrie that there’s just an hour left until its Jade’s birthday. While Jade was busy prepping something in the kitchen, Perrie took the chance to drag Leigh Anne and Jesy somewhere around Jade’s house.

“Just an hour left until Jade’s birthday. I’ll need help setting everything up.” Perrie said.

“I’m in. Leigh Anne, you play as a distraction for Jade.” Jesy said, pointing at Leigh Anne.

“Why me?” Leigh Anne pointed at herself. “Why do I have to suffer in Jade’s presence alone and in the same room?”

“Come on, you’ll be good at it. Don’t hate on each other too much and set aside these ship wars of yours.” Jesy said. Leigh Anne uttered a sigh and went to the living room and sat on the sofa next to Jade.

“Why are you the only one here and where are Perrie and Jesy?” Jade asked.

“Guess what.” Leigh Anne said.

“I don’t know, just tell me. I don’t want my brain to stress too much.” Jade said, rubbing circles around her temples.

“Well, Perrie and Jesy paid me twenty euros to distract you.” Leigh Anne said. Jade raised an eyebrow at the girl.

“Distract me from what?” Jade asked curiously.

“You know, if you just act being distracted this is going to be easy for the both of us. Don’t you think?”

“I’m not distracted. I’m confused.”

“Isn’t that what your sexuality said when you first saw Perrie.” Leigh Anne joked, earning a laugh from Jade.

Jesy began to unbox Jade’s birthday cake, putting a candle above it. It was a Disney-themed birthday cake and Perrie knew just how much Jade loved Disney.

“You know I’ll tell you a little something about Jade. I always get Jade two presents. I get her one for Christmas and one for her birthday.” Jesy laughed. “She didn’t like people who would always give her one instead of two. It’s either given on Christmas then she’ll receive nothing the next day. I always make an exception to her.”

“I’ll keep that in mind then.” Perrie smiled.

“Did you get her two presents? Never mind. She’d still love you anyway.” Perrie couldn’t help but blush at Jesy’s statement.

“I think we’re pretty much done here with this setup. Let’s go back to the living room.”

The four of them were sat in front of the fireplace exchanging the Christmas presents they bought for each other. Perrie grabbed a small box from her side and handed it to Jade.

“I got you a present,” Perrie said, a blush appearing on her pale cheeks. Jade smiled at the blonde and grabbed the present from Perrie’s hands.

Jade let out a sigh, “I told you it’s alright if you don’t give me a present. But I appreciate it, mostly because it’s from you.” Jade slowly unwraps the gift, revealing a small velvet box. There was a gold necklace with her initials “JT”. She looked back at Perrie with a smirk on her face.

“Funny thing is I got you the same thing,” Jade said, placing the small velvet box on Perrie’s lap. It was a golden necklace too, with Perrie’s initials “PE”.

“I swear to God, you’re fucking soul mates, it’s disgusting.” Leigh Anne said.

It was already past midnight, they spent the entire evening drinking and having a cake fight with each other. Leigh Anne and Jesy were already in bed drunk. Jade and Perrie are sat on the porch with hot chocolates in their hands. Jade thought it was one of the best birthdays she ever had. Mostly she didn’t enjoy her past few birthdays because she’s used to spending it alone or just with Jesy. But this time it felt absolutely special because she spent it with Perrie.

“Hey, what’s going on in that head of yours? You’ve been awfully quiet.” Jade asked.

“I think it’s the alcohol messing with my head. I’ve been creating fake scenarios the past few minutes.” Perrie replied, taking a sip of her hot chocolate. Jade felt it too. Her head was actually spinning, she just wished she stayed sober earlier if she could. But where’s the fun in that though?

“Humor me.”

Perrie examined Jade’s features, her forehead, eyebrows, brown eyes, nose, and lips. “I’ve been thinking that any of this isn’t real. You’re not real and this is just in my imagination.”

“Do you want to know what is real?” Jade motioned, leaning closer to Perrie. She locked eyes with Perrie not breaking it as she leaned closer to her. She placed a kiss on Perrie’s lips and leaned her forehead against Perrie’s, a smile appeared on her lips. Perrie took no time to place her hands on Jade’s neck, pulling her again for another kiss. Jade responded, slowly sucking on Perrie’s lower lip. Perrie seemed to like it as she let a moan escape her lips. As air became an issue for both of them, they stopped for a moment. Jade once again pecking Perrie’s lips softly, her hands cupping Perrie's cheeks.

“Are you going to do it on the porch or not?” Jesy interrupted, leaning on the door frame, her arms crossed.

“If it meant not to be interrupted by you, then yes,” Jade replied, rolling her eyes.

“I hope you accept my apologies. I salute your bravery of getting hypothermia for sex but I was about to lock the door and if you don’t want to get inside you can sleep here and freeze to death.” Jesy reasoned. Perrie stood up and made her way inside with Jade following behind. Before she passed Jesy she whispered, “Cock block.”

Jesy laughed, pushing Jade lightly. “I said I was sorry. Besides, you’ll get plenty of that soon.” Jesy winked.

“Goodnight, Jade," Perrie called out, catching Jade's attention.

"Goodnight, Pez."

As Jade laid on her bed she couldn't stop thinking about the feeling when she kissed Perrie. How it moves perfectly with hers. She touched her lip, already missing Perrie's lips on hers. She sighed as she covered her face with a pillow. She might have trouble sleeping tonight as Perrie never left her mind, even for a second.
