I barely know you by your outer skin moulded perfectly on your body,
That gets tanned in the sun And changes color,
By the smile you plaster on your face that changes look
As beard and mustache grows,
By the scent of your body
I used to smell while I nuzzle my nose on your chest
That gets overcome by the smell of perfume you wear.
By the new clothes i'vent seen you wear that you change every next month,
By your muscles that gets more toned every time you send me pictures,
Coz you've been away for more than a while,
And I barely know all the changes that changed you in all these time. But in all these times,
I've known you more than people can understand
While they wonder how can we stand
With distance in-between,
I know about you more than anyone ever can.I know you by your heartbeat so well that sometimes I get it confused as my own,
By your soft voice while you try to soothe crying me over phone like they're medicine to my wounded heart,
By the gentle caring words you speak gently that makes me warm even in the cold December night,
By the heart that beats only for me staying thousands of mile away on the other side of the earth,
By your pure love for me that grows but never changes
Spreading it's root all over the heart waiting to bear the sweet fruit of togetherness,
By the stupid smile on your face that comes when I throw a bad joke.
By the weird faces you make over Skype making me forget the count of number of actual distance.Yes, I barely know you but still I know you very well
Like you're me
Or a part that got separated before coming down to this world,
Or Soul mate, as you say
But whatever it is,
I can tell you my love,
I've always known your heart by my heart from the very start....(Hello!! Thank you for reading. Vote if you like it. And comment your views. ;)
