When we reached the cafeteria, I made my way to our table noticing Jason missing. I sat down and started talking to them trying not to think about him anymore until my eyes caught sight of him sitting with the football team and not to miss one of the sluts almost half on top of him. Anyway what else could I expect ?!! He's a player for crying out loud!

I didn't realise how long I was just staring at him because the next thing I knew Jess pinched my arm hard enough to make me yelp in pain.

'What the fuck dude?' I screamed at her.

'I've been trying to get your attention since forever. So..' She shrugged.

I closed my eyes and sighed and when I opened them I received the stupid sexy smirk from none other than the jerk himself. I gave him an annoyed look and turned towards Cole who was telling us about some new phone that was recently launched.

As soon as the bell rang signalling lunch time was over, I made my way toward the door when I was stopped by someone. I turned around to see Mike looking at me with a bewildered expression.

'Hey. What's with that look?' I asked

He slung his arm around my shoulders and guided us towards the hallway.

'Is everything alright?' He questioned looking down at me.

'Umm yeah. Why?'

'I don't know. You seem kinda lost today'

'Nah I'm fine' I smiled reassuringly at him.

'Oh okay' he frowned.

I hated lying to Mike. Even though we broke up, we were still the best friends like before. Nothing changed that. Just like Ross and Rachel from friends, though they got back together in the end but whatever.
