Chapter Three

I was standing in front of my locker looking for my bio notebook when I sensed someone's eyes boring into my side. I shut my locker after grabbing my notebook and saw Jason grinning at me.

'Hey beautiful' he said smirking.

'Hey loser' I fake smiled.

'Ooh looks like someone's pissed, is it' he asked with a cocky grin.

'Oh no not at all. I'm just so overwhelmed to see you this morning' I said rolling my eyes.

'Wow same here' he replied with his stupid smirk.

I rolled my eyes at him and turned around and went to class. It was biology first period today and I went and sat with Cole like I always did.

'Hey' Cole said smiling

'Hey' I smiled back

I liked Cole. He was a really nice guy and I enjoyed hanging around with him. The rest of the period Mr Heath spent telling us our results of the practical we performed the previous day and thank God I passed. I looked at Jason and that asshole was grinning at me. He didn't do a single thing and he was sitting there grinning! Idiot!

Other classes were same as usual and I was waiting for lunchtime so that I could meet all my friends and also because it was the best time of the day.

'So what you doing tomorrow night' Cole asked me while we were walking towards the cafeteria.

'Umm no plans as such' I replied thinking why was he asking me this suddenly.

'Would you mind going out for dinner with me ' he asked with a glint of hope.

I couldn't help but smile. He was so sweet.

'As in a date' I asked smirking at him.

'Yeah' he replied blushing slightly.

Oh my god! He was blushing.

'Aww, you're so cute Cole' I said pinching his cheeks gently.

'Hey don't call me cute' he said trying to sound offended.

'Can't help it you're too damn cute' I chirped in a high pitch voice which caused him to laugh.

'Come on let's go grab something to eat' he told me wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

We were waiting in line and I was laughing at Cole who was trying to immitate some girl who tried to hit on him. Just then Jason came up to us and raised an eyeborw at Cole for slinging his arm on my shoulder I guess because Cole pulled me towards him and tightened his grip on me.

'Hey dude whatsup' Cole asked Jason smirking.

'Um...what..nothing' Jason fumbled and walked to his table scowling.

I never know what that meant but I didn't think too much about it. I sat next to Cole and Jess this time across from Jason. He didn't look at me once and was busy talking to the other guys. I looked at him a couple of times but he didn't pay attention so I just gave up and didn't care.

The next day was boring as we had so much work in almost all the classes. I couldn't even talk to Jess and Delaina in English and French because we were busy taking down notes the whole time. Lunchtime was the only thing that was fun.

'Hey sugar' Jason smirked at me

'Hey Jasey' I said teasingly

'Oh God! How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that' he asked annoyed

'Aww don't be angry Jaseeeyy' I answered in a high pitched girly voice which caused him to groan

I laughed and walked towards our table.

'So we're going out tonight right' Cole asked me grinning

'Oh I'm really sorry! I totally forgot and made plans with my mom to go shopping' I told him faking a sad pout

'Hmm that's okay' he said sadly and lowered his gaze

'Haha look at you Cole. So cuteeee' I told him slinging my arm across his neck

'Whaa-at' he stammered confused

'I was just kidding dumbo'

'Shit! You're so mean Serah' he grumbled

'Yeah yeah' I said laughing

I looked away from him and saw Jason staring at me with a slight frown. I narrowed my eyes at him and he looked away. Okay, what the hell was that! Why was he acting so weird!

I was sitting in my room dressed to go out with Cole. It was 7.15 and he said he'd pick me up at 7.30 so I waited patiently for him. Mom and Dad weren't at home but they knew I was going out for dinner with Cole. They teased me about it but I just blew them off. Crazy parents I have but I love them the most!

Finally the door bell rang and I went to open it.

'Hey! You look beautiful' he told me smiling.

'Thanks you don't look too bad yourself' I grinned.

He actually did look good oh may I say handsome. Yeah he did look handsome in that blue shirt he had worn. Blue surely suited him.

'So where are you taking me' I asked him while surfing through the radio channels.

'Umm there's a new italian restaurant opened nearby it's pretty good' he answered looking at the road

'Wow! That sounds nice. Italian's my favourite cuisine' I grinned.

'Mine too' he grinned back.

'I love this song' I screamed excitedly and turned the volume up

He jumped as I scared him by screaming like a crazed-fan !

'Take me away..a secret place a sweet escape..take me awaaayy..I got a pocket got a pocket full of sunshine wo woah' I sang along with Natasha Beddingfield in my awful voice and Cole was just laughing at me the whole time.

We reached the restaurant and it was beautiful. The waiter guided us to our table and Cole pulled my chair for me.

'Woah! Being a total gentleman and all huh' I teased

He smiled and sat down across me

I ordered for a pasta and Cole ordered for some exotic sizzler or something.. I had an amazing time and Cole being Cole made me laugh my ass off with his jokes and all.. That guy was really fun to be around and time just flew whenever I was with him. (It's not like I was falling for him or something) It was just that I really liked him as a friend and I loved spending time with him.

He dropped me back home and then he opened the passenger door for me, I stepped out and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.

'I had a wonderful evening Cole. Thank you' I gave him my most sexy smile.

'My pleasure Ma'am' he said flirtily and gave a little bow.

I giggled and turned to go back home

'Night Serah'

'Night Cole'

And then he drove off.
