Chapter Seven

Next day I didn't go to school as I planned to spend the entire day with my childhood bestie, Kim. 

'Good morning Kimzzy' I screamed in her ear and she jumped up in fright 

I burst out laughing and she glared at me. 

'What the hell Sezza. You almost gave me a heart attack' she told me annoyed

'Aww come on. I was just having some fun that's all' I was still laughing 

She groaned and then joined in my laughter. 

'Girls ! Breakfast is ready' my mom shouted from downstairs and we both ran down 

'Wow pancakes! I love you Aunty' kim told my mom hugging her 

'Love you too baby' my mom kissed the top of her head

Kim had always been close to my family as we basically grew up together. We were neighbours until her Dad got a job transfer to New Jersey. 

Kim and I sat at the table and ate breakfast with my mom, dad had already left for work.

'So what are you both upto today' my mom asked us smiling

'Umm we'll just hang around at home..watch some movies,talk and then later we'll be going to Mike's place' I told mom 

'Oh that sounds good. Enjoy your day you two' my mom grinned and went to do some work in the kitchen 

'Hey! I can't wait to see Mike. Gosh, how much I missed annoying him' Kim said with an evil glint in her eye. 

I laughed and said 'Don't be a bitch Kimzzy. Spare the poor boy' 

'Yeah right. As if' she shook her head putting a big piece of pancake in her already full mouth

After we finished eating, we laid down on my bed aimlessly talking about everything that was on our mind. 

'My life's really boring Sezza. Man, being boyfriend-less sucks big time' she said frowning

'You're sucha despo Kimzy' I smacked her on the stomach 

She laughed and propped herself on her elbows and turned so she could face me. 

'Aren't you' she asked raising her eyebrow 

'Nah' I scrunched my nose up 

'You can't lie to me. I know you too well' she smirked

'Shut up'

'So what about this hot-guy that's been haunting your dreams lately' she asked seeming really interested 

'Nothing. He doesn't even like me that way. I'm just another toy for him' I told her 

'Oh you're not! Can't you just be normal for once' she said throwing her hands up in frustration

'You don't even know him. So how can you be so confident' I asked her annoyed

'Because no guy can resist your beauty and that to after kissing you. Impposible' 

'We didn't kiss Kim' I said sadly

'You will. Soon' she grinned

'Definitely' I rolled my eyes

'Serah' 

'Oh please no more of this. Let's just watch the damn movie' I got up and put the dvd on and we watched Abduction fantasizing over Taylor Lautner the whole time.
