Why me??? You grumbled to yourself as you fell off a tree, into the pond below.
"A (Y/r) and you're still falling out of trees? Here let me give you a hand." A voice said, the voice belonging to no other than your love interest, Iruka-sensei. Just your luck.
Great, you groaned. Which god have I pissed off lately? I'm sorry, forgive me.
"You're getting all wet, here come." He said, stretching a hand towards you.
Poor Iruka-sensei probably has no idea how that sounds, you snickered in your head as you took his hand.
He pulled you up with a little more force than necessary, probably not realizing how light you were. And when you collided with him with a wince, your mouths accidently met each others in an awkward kiss.

Iruka quickly moved away from you mumbling his apologies awkwardly as he tried to explain that he didn't mean to offend you and that you've grown into a very beautiful woman and not that you weren't a beautiful child but oh but he didn't mean for that to happen and he's...
You shut him up by putting a finger to his lips. He didn't meet your eyes, focusing instead on the ground. But he didn't back away, and you wondered if perhaps the gods were attempting to help you. Testing, you lightly trailed you finger across his scar and his eyes flew up to yours in surprise. But he didn't stop you.
"Iruka-sensei there's no need to apologize. What happened, happened, and it's ok." You said giving him a closed-eye smile as you scratched the back of your head.
"Technically I'm not your sensei any longer so that suffix isn't actually necessary." He murmured before he stayed quiet for a few minutes until you opened your eyes.
When he spoke it was with a completely straight face, "Have you been hanging around Kakashi lately? Because it really shows. All you need is a mask."
You scoffed and pouted. "I haven't spent that much time with him..."
"Are you...pouting?" Iruka asked, fighting off laughter.
"Noo." You whined.
Iruka chuckled and shook his head and you felt pretty proud at getting out of that awkwardness. The only problem is... now that you've kissed him... you want to do it again.
Oh great, she's gonna get things back to that awkward state.
