Natsu's POV

The bell rings for the end of lesson and I wave goodbye to Jellal, one of my good friends, and head to the school library. I sit at a computer and log into the school system.

I quickly click on the internet symbol and wait for Google to load. As the familiar colour starts to appear on the screen I type in two words. Lucy Heartfilia
As I press the search button millions of results come up including:

Lucy Heartfilia – Wikipedia
Heartfilia Konzern – Official Website
HEARTFILIA KONZERN FIRE! – BBC News
Little Lucy Rescued From Death – Daily Express
Riches to Rags, Fire Burned Fortune – The Sun
Heartfilia Heir Disappears! – The Mirror
Where is the Heartfilia Princess? – Conspiracy Weekly

I had no idea what any of these articles where about but they were 14 years old. There was nothing more recent. I clicked on the first article to see if the right person had come up but the picture was of a little girl, aged around three. I looked for the date of birth and calculated that she would be right age. Maybe it was just out of date. I checked the last time it was updated. 14 Years Ago. There was no information. It had all been deleted by someone. I tried the next website, apparently it was a big merchant company but I had never heard of it. Apparently the owners all died. I checked the date. 14 Years Ago. As expected the third article explained how the owners died, one night a fire broke out killing all inside except Lucy who was somehow saved. The company went bust and suddenly Lucy Heartfilia disappeared off of the map and she wasn't seen or heard from again.

That must be her... I printed out my findings, logged off of the computer and was about to rush out to find her when I saw a flash of golden hair and I turned to see her scanning the bookshelves. I waited for her to sit down at a table before approaching her. "I know who you are... You're the Heartfilia princess..." As the words came out of my mouth she dropped her book suddenly. "How do you know about that?"
"It's called Google," (A/N That sass though!)
"Oh god... I knew I shouldn't have said anything..." She held her hands to her head tightly, looking down at the table.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," I smiled at her and she looked up. "But we are friends now. No argument." Lucy nodded her head and I picked up the book she had dropped. One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I quickly scribbled something on a sticky note and stuck it on the book then I passed the book back to her and walked out of the library leaving Lucy to her book.

Lucy's POV

I heard the bell ring for class and tried to get out as quick as possible but it wasn't fast enough. As I walked into the hall I was tripped over by Angel Sorano, mean girl number 1 at FTH. She laughed at me and her cronies pulled me up by the scruff of my neck and pushed me into the lockers, punching me, slapping me, the usual, it was like a routine now. "You think you're so special, don't you? You're so clever, the teachers love you...blah blah blah...well listen, suck-up, no-one cares about you, you're the least popular person here, no one likes you, they just pretend to like the little ugly geek you are, so sink right back down to the ground where you belong. In fact no one could even pretend to like a freak like you," As they finally got bored they pushed me into a classroom door and walked off. I sighed, and rubbed away the tears that fell down my face and walked to the library.

I scanned the shelves for books and came across One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. I pulled it off of the shelf and went to my usual corner table. I hadn't even started the first sentence when I heard a voice. "I know who you are... You're the Heartfilia princess..." I dropped my book in shock. This couldn't be happening, no one had ever guessed it. I had spent forever keeping Wiki empty of any information. ""How do you know about that?"
"It's called Google," Had I really forgotten to check Google. I was so focused on one website that someone had found a gap in my wall. "Oh god... I knew I shouldn't have said anything..." I knew I would regret telling him my name, especially my full name. I held my head tightly with my hands. A million things were running through my mind. If anyone found out about this I would be in a worse state than I already was in. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," I looked up at him and he smiled at me. Any other girl would have been drooling but after all this time I had lost all emotions except fear and sadness. Natsu continued "But we are friends now. No argument." I nodded silently. He picked up my book from the floor and handed it to me before walking away without another word. I watched as he walked out of the room before turning back to my book. On the front cover I saw a sticky note on the front with the words: There are people in this world that enjoy being alone but there isn't a single person who can bear solitude. ~Your Friend, Natsu.

Author: HEY!  It so awkward writing these bottom author bits when only like one person is reading my story... Anyway I hope you like the chapter. I was having a bit of trouble but randomly during Maths I had a stroke of inspiration!
