There are things in this world
that never last long.
These tend to discourage us.
They break our spirits and make us more docile.
And turn us into someone else.
Methods used by other
human beings.
Sometimes even ones we trusted.
But there are also things in this world that never fail.
These things never let us down and are always there
to help us.
Such things do not exist in the world tangible to man.
But they do exist nonetheless.
Love for a friend
Trust in a friend
Love for a friend
It's what gets you through life.
And even if they betray,
somewhere inside they are hurting because of it
And wish they could return to your side.
Even if they do not show it, they are always looking for the chance to fix the tear between you.
Trust in a friend
Something that seems like it might fail a lot.
It's just not true.
You always trust they'll do what they say, or even the complete opposite.
But you trust them enough
You know them enough
That even though it seems like a lie
Or an act
Or they don't try to show it at all.
You trust that they really do
care for you.
So I'm going to add on to what I said at the beginning.
