Chapter 8~~Just close your eyes

--Kay’s POV--

I can’t believe I told him my name; he seems to like it which is good I guess. Now if only I knew his name, ugh why does he have to be cute!?

“Kay”? He waves his hand in front of me, I must have dazed off staring at him.

“Hmm, sorry. I zoned off” I replied

“Bored of me already?” he teased

“Wouldn’t dream of it” I said truthfully. I could never get bored of him.

Dance with me tonight by Olly Murs starts

"Do you want to dance with me?" he said with a smirk on his face

I just laughed at his cuteness, "I would love to" I replied with a big smile on my face

When I saw you there,

Sitting all alone in the dark acting like you didn't have a care,

I could dance with him all night, I never want this night to end. It felt like it had been hours that we were dancing and talking then I got pulled back into reality when Nic came up to me

"Hi sorry for interrupting but I have to borrow Kay for a second" she said and grabbed my arm.

"What?" I asked little bit annoyed at her.

"Did you not hear the clock strike midnight? We have to go NOW" she said.

"Shit, I totally forgot. Okay let me just say bye" I said as I glanced up at the clock and realized what she was telling was true. I walked up to the mystery guy and apologized to him and said goodbye. I went to join Nic and started to help her look for the others.

After 5 mins Nic and I found Ash with Peter's help, now we just had to find Ella. I told the others to gather their things up while I find Ella and as soon as I said that I found her dancing with a mystery boy, it was good to see her with someone besides Derek. Then I saw him leaning toward her, his hand beside her face near her mask. Shit Shit Shit he's going to take off her mask. I quickly went over to Ella and grabbed her arm and pulled her away from the mystery boy. Ella looked me with a confused look then she looked at the clock.

"Shit, I'm sorry Kay. I lost track of time." she said apologetically

"It's okay, El. We all did" I told her.

Once Ella and I got to the others, she realized that she left her bag with her phone, her wallet and some of Nic's, Ash's and mine things.

"We can't go back for it, El. We have to get home, we'll tell the clerk at the front desk to give it to the office at school and we'll get first thing Monday morning." I told her.

"Okay, let's just go." she said quietly.
