Author's Note: I am so so so so so so so so sorry that I haven't updated since October. I got a job at the end of October so I was working, then I had school and final exams. I'm surprised I didn't die from the final exams. Anyway, I lost my job before school started and I'm back at school now. So, updating will probably be limited again. I thought I would upload for you guys since it was my birthday but it's past my birthday now. --Ashlynn's POV--
I walked up to Louis and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and smiled at me. He's even hotter in person I thought to myself. All of a sudden, I forgot what I was going to say to him; he noticed and started talking to me. Great! I made a fool of myself in front of LOUIS TOMLINSON-1/5 of ONE DIRECTION!!!!
"Hi" he said
"Umm...hi" I replied shyly
What the hell happened to the smooth and confident Ashlynn?! Because she isn't here now!
Come on, Ashlynn! Pull yourself together, he's just a normal guy I told myself but the last part is a complete lie because he's not a normal guy, he's 1/5 of One Direction.
"Hi, I'm Ashlynn" I say with more confident in my voice.
"Hi Ashlynn. I'm Louis." He says with a smile.
Like I don't know who you are I said it in my head
"What did you say?" he asks sweetly
Crap!!! I said that aloud! Great, he'll think I'm an idiot
"Just so you know, I don't think you're an idiot", he says sweetly
Oh my GOD!!!! He doesn't think I'm an idiot but he will in a minute if I don't say anything to him.
"So what brings you to Michigan?" I asked.
Really?! Ashlynn, that's the first question that comes into your head!!! Really?!
"Umm...well I don't really know. Liam knows better than I do." He laughs as answers.
I laugh too. He's so cute! Ugh why does he have to be cute?
"So what brings you here?" he asks quickly and looks at the ground, waiting for my answer.
"Well...it's my school annual masquerade ball and I came with my friends because they said it was going to be fun and it's so far it is." I said then I quickly looked at the ground as I felt heat slowly creeping onto my cheeks.
"Well, I'm having fun so far as well." He looks at me with a shy smile.
Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran came on.
"I love this song!" I said to myself as I started to sway to the music.
I start to close my eyes while swaying to the music, then I feel someone's arms wrap around my waist. I open my eyes and see its Louis; I look up to stare into his blue eyes. He stares in my blue eyes and suddenly we just stare each other and smiling like complete dorks. Louis starts to sing along,
"I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet, And with a feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now
Kiss me like you wanna be loved, You wanna be loved, You wanna be loved, This feels like falling in love, Falling in love, We're falling in love,
Settle down with me, And I'll be your safety, You'll be my lady"
His voice is heavenly live and he was only singing to me. Best night EVER! It's not every day I get to say that Louis Tomlinson from One Direction sang to me while dancing with me.
Then, I realized that the music had stopped; wow we must have stared into each other's eyes for what seems like an eternity.
"Um... Louis?" I say
"Hmm." He was apparently still lost in my eyes. He was in his own little world.
"The music's stop" I state
"Oh, right" He say embarrassed, dropping his hands from my waist. He lowers his head but I could tell he had a sad look on his face that we weren't dancing anymore.
"Louis?" He raises his head so he's looking into my eyes. "Just because we've stopped dancing, doesn't mean we can't still talk. Would you like to get a drink?"
"Umm, yes...yes! I would like that very much" He says with a smile
We walked towards the snack and drink table. As soon as we are getting closer towards the table, I suddenly feel myself tripping over....my shoes I guess. I tripped over thin air of course I do.
"Holy fu......fudge cakes. Holy fudge cakes" I start to curse but then I remembered Louis was with me.
He starts to laugh at me and then I laugh along with him.
It felt so natural being with him. We'll probably just stay friends though. That moment makes me sad to even think about.
--Louis' POV--
This girl is amazing; her laugh, her confidence, her humor, she is...perfect. We'll probably stay friends though. It will never work; she won't go for a guy like me.
