Ichigo's POV

There I was, standing by the counter in the kitchen.

Speechless.

There was someone in the kitchen. Someone that I was supposed to avoid because if I happened to run into them, I'd have to leave. One things for sure, I didn't want to go back to that place again.

The man stood there with a wide smiles and closed eyes. His hair was a beautiful white, but had a light purplish tint. The man eyed me down for a few moments until he finally deemed himself ready to speak.

"You're not one of ours are you kid?"

I tried to speak, but I felt as though my body completely shut down the moment this man saw me. I wasn't supposed to be noticed by this guy. And now that I was, I probably have to go back 'home'. Shaking those thoughts from my head for the time being, I quickly gained the courage to speak to the man that stood before me.

"N-No..I'm not..actually." I said in a soft spoken voice as I slowly moved my head to look at the ground.

The older male looked at me as his smiles became a little wider. He put a pale hand out to me and laughed softly.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr.-?"

The white hair male paused towards the end of his sentence and his face became distorted with a confused expression. I assumed he stopped because he didn't yet know my name. Opened my mouth before he got the chance to continue, and told the confused male my name.

"It's..Ichigo..Kurosaki sir."

The lavenderette gave me yet another one of his wide grins as returned to what he was previously doing before I came down and accidentally interrupted. Picking up another pot and adding water to it, the male decided to speak again. This time he told me his name.

"well the name is Gin kid, I guess I could say it was nice to meet you."

And with that, it was silent again. I stood there in silence as Gin began to prepare dinner. I didn't know what to do.

"I don't belong in there house..should I leave?..or should I stay until he tells me I can move again?.."

My head was now swirling with thoughts like that. I honestly didn't know what to do, or where to go for that matter. I felt like if I left the kitchen the man would scold me because I'm not even supposed to be here in the first place. Now feeling as though I would be standing there forever, I felt a sudden warmth around my wrist. Fingers slowly wrapped themselves around my shaking wrist and then began to tug. I turned around slightly frightened as my body began to tense up. In the corner of my eye I saw blue. A cerlan like blue that made my nerves quickly settle.

"Grimmjow.."

I let out a sigh of relief seeing my newly found blue haired friend. He was the one that saved me from that dark alley. He even let me sleep in his room, and he also tended to all if my wounds. Their was still a bit of scaring, but he was also treating those as well.

"Hey there Strawberry, why don't you come with me for a moment instead of standing in the kitchen." The bluenette said with a warm smiles as he proceeded to tug me gently out of the kitchen.

I had no need to keep standing there, so I followed along closely behind the larger male until we made it to the livingroom. When we got there, Grimmjow stopped walking and turned around to look at me.

"So, I see you've met Gin?"

I looked away from the bluenette and sighed softly. I know I wasn't supposed to wonder, and I know I was supposed to stay clear of that guy. But of course I ended up running into him anyway. It really wasn't much of a big deal, but yet I was still really upset about it. I don't really know why, but oh well I guess. Suddenly, I found myself being patted on the head gently by the bluenette. Surprised if course, I looked up a bit to meet his eyes with mine.

"..You're not mad?"

The large male let out a soft laugh as he removed his hand from my head.

"No, did you expect me to be?"

Pulling my hands close to one another, I couldn't help but pick with my fingers along with looking away from the bluenette, and down at my fingers.

"Well...kind of..I guess."

Grimmjow ran a finger through his hair and began to twirl for a moment. Then, he placed his fingers underneath if my chin with his other hand to lift my head up. Once again my eyes met his. But his gaze wasn't hostile or angry. It was..kind and welcoming. The larger male gave a small smile and stood up from the couch.

"Eye contact is important when speaking to people Ichigo. Just a tip of advice."

Suddenly, that warm fuzzy feeling I had was replaced with a small hint of irritation.

"Yes Grimmjow I'm well aware of that. And why the hell is he being so sarcastic?.." I thought to myself as the bluenette began to walk away.

"No need to be so sarcastic.." I mumbled to myself, hoping that the larger male was far enough away not to hear my comment.

Sadly, I was mistaken.

The large male turned around to face me. His eyes meeting mine yet again. This time, it scared me a bit. This time he a look of mischief as he narrowed his eyes a bit. Making his gaze all the more intense. I wanted to look away, but at the same time I felt as though if I looked away I would make him angry. Then, the blue haired male started making his way in my direction. Instantly, I was regretting even opening my mouth. Backing into the couch a bit, my grip on the couch cushions got tighter, and now I was overwhelmed with fear and anxiety. The older male was standing right in front of me. I felt the air get heavier and suddenly it was harder to breath. The bluenette kneeled down, our faces now met at the same level. He raised his hand slowly and placed his fingers underneath of my chin, making it impossible to look down.

"If you don't want to receive punishment..I recommend you watch that mouth of yours." the larger male said as a wide grin spread across his face.
