Ichigo's POV
The door made a small clicking noise as grimmjow closed the door behind us. He then looked at me after.
"You ready to go?" He asked, slipping his copy of the house key into his pocket.
"Yeah. I guess.." I replied, wrapping my arms around myself nervously.
Suddenly, I felt warmth on my hand. The opposite of the chilly, brisk wind outside. I looked down to see Grimmjow's hand on mine.
"Just relax kid, we're just going for a little walk. Plus this place is really nice at night, the perfect time for me to show you around a little bit. Nothin' dangerous, alright?"
I let the corners of my lips curl up into a small smile and looked up at the slightly older male.
"Okay, thank you."
"No problem, now let's get going." He said, wrapping an arm gently around my shoulders.

The two of us are now pretty far from the house. But when Grimmjow said this place was beautiful at night, he really did mean what he said. There is no street lights in this little area, so the streets are always dark. But when you get to a certain part of this place, people have all kinds of colorful lights hanging up from there houses or the electricity poles near by. The lights are beautiful and make the streets looking like you're walking down a place that's unreal. Each house has either a different color or multiple colors, and with each house you pass you step into a different luminescent color. It was creative and made the dark streets a lot less intimidating.
"You look in awe. Like what you see?" The bluenette asked.
I averted my gaze from the pretty lights to him and smiled.
"I do, this was a really great idea."
"Glad you like it. We can walk around here for a bit and go home. No need to stay out to late I guess."
"Alright then, sounds good."
Grimmjow and I walked around for hours. We even went to a small park in the area and sat on the two swings near the wooden gate that surrounded the park. The two of us swung in sync, talking about nonsense and coming up with different scenarios of what will happen if we're caught.
It was fun.
Walking around in this beautiful little place was new and somewhat refreshing. It was different then where I stayed before. Looking out the window to see buildings all around that look the same. Walking out my house to see the same crowded street with no space to ever park close by. Getting a taste of nature was something I can say I definitely needed.
I felt a smile tug at the corners of my lips as I racked my brain for the short lived memories of tonight.
I don't want to forget this.
"Hey," Grimmjow said suddenly, snapping me out of my small daze.
"What's up?"
"I have to pee, so I'm going to find some bush or something nearby."
I couldn't help but make a face at what the bluenette said. It was weird to state you were going to pee in a bush so blatantly. To me at least.
"Alright then. Don't be too long, we have to get home soon," I replied with a smile.
With that, Grimmjow gave me a small nod and walked away from the swings in search for the lucky bush.
When he disappeared completely, I took it upon myself to look around the place, waiting for Grimmjow to return when suddenly something caught my eye. When I saw it, I could feel a strong, strange aura around me. It honestly felt all to familiar.
And then it hit me.
A man with long red hair stood from afar. The color of his hair and the band around his head gave him away. It was an ex friend, and an ex lover...
Renji Abari.
My stomach suddenly began to twist in knots as I stared at the red head from a distance. Dispute the large amount of space between us, our eyes still met one another. As Renji began to walk closer I heard a sudden rustle of leaves. My eyes darted quickly to the direction of noise only to see Grimmjow stepping away from the bush. I felt relieved seeing him, and happy that I wasn't alone.
"Grimmjow!" I yelled suddenly, standing up from the swing I sat on.
Grimmjow walked over to me and looked down, my eyes meeting his.
"Yeah, what's up?" He said, running his hand through his messy blue hair.
"Let's go..quickly please."
The bluenette opened his mouth to speak again, only to be cut off shortly with another quick response.
"I'll explain later, let's just go home now.." I said, taking a hold of Grimmjow's hand.
With that, the both of us made our way home. When we arrived, Grimmjow used his key to open the door for the both of us. I stepped in first followed by the larger male.
"So Ichigo," He stated suddenly, closing the door behind him.
"Hm?"
"You wanna tell me what that was all about?"
"Well..." I began, averting my gaze to the ground.
"Remember the first day we met?"
A/N: Sorry about such a short chapter, I really wanted to get this really delayed chapter out. The next one should be much longer then this one, and things have calmed down so updates will be out quicker. Sorry about this really..really crappy chapter, I hope you enjoy the next one though '^^
