Break Time

Have you ever felt so relieved to graduate? It feels like you have all the time in the world to do whatever you wanna do. These past few days after graduation have been relaxing aside from the daily chores. I've been catching the best z's ever and being laid up with Leah most of the time. It's literally the best, every night i'm up late with Leah helping her with homework while i cooked up something for the both of us.

"Babe, i really appreciate you for helping me out with this ridiculous amount of homework." Leah smiled at me. I cut the stove off and sat down to accompany Leah at the table, "It's no problem at all." Leah took my hand in hers and sighed, "I can't believe this is actually real." I gave her this confused look, "What do you mean?"

She sighed then rubbed her face into her sleeve and cleared her throat. "Well i never expected to be getting engaged so soon actually. I mean i'm barely outta high school and you're already graduated probably heading off to college soon. You don't find that frustrating at all with all the pressure of dealing with someone who is still in high school?" Lead asked, concerned. "Well not really. If you think about it, I'm still an underclassmen myself. I mean yeah i graduated but that shouldn't matter. You love me right?" I asked her. "Of course, You know that." Leah reassured herself. "Then don't worry so much about it as long as we keep this bond going there's no stopping it." I smiled at her before turning to the stove to make our plates. "I'm so lucky." Leah said, twirling her fork in her hand.

We enjoyed our little dinner of shrimp/chicken pasta salad then proceeded upstairs to bed. I laid down and started watching Snapchat's as Leah laid her head on my back; watching cartoons. "Babe, i gotta serious question." Leah said to me. "What's up?" I answered. She didn't respond back instead she sat up and looked at me. I met her gaze then gave her a confused look, "What?" She didn't say anything just glared at me. It was starting to make me feel weird and uncomfortable then sudden she let out a big "Booo!" I jumped a little then rolled over on my side. "That was a dick move."

Leah laughed and hugged me, "I didn't think you were gonna get scared so easily." I moved from Leah, "Nope, I'm mad at you now." Leah stood up on the bed, "Oh really now?" I ran to the other side of the room, laughing as Leah chased me around the room. "Leave me alone, meanie!" I laughed as i dashed for the bathroom. Leah was blocking me from closing the door, laughing. "Come here, since I'm a meanie." I laughed harder and Leah picked me up on her shoulder then laid me on the bed; playfully punching me. "Who the meanie now?" Leah laughed, blowing in my cheek. "Ok okay. You win, You win." I laughed, holding onto Leah.
