Lately, everything between me and Leah have been great. She's a senior now and I'm a sophomore in college, Leah wants me to go to prom with her and honestly I've never even been to a prom.

"You mean to tell me, you have never been to a prom?" Leah asked, astonished. I shook my head then laid in my hands. "Don't make fun of me, Leah. I'm serious. I always thought it was like 'popular' kids or something. The only thing i've ever attended in high school was homecoming." Leah smiled, "Okay okay, it's like homecoming but better." I looked at her, "how so?" Leah thought for a minute then a big smile came off her face. "picture a theme of the school's choosing in an elegant place, food and desserts, party doesn't end till like 11. PLUS there's an after party." Leah said, holding my hands.

"An after party huh? where at exactly, do you know?" "Mmmm well they're saying Dave N Busters but, maybe Kings Dominion." Leah shrugged. "Ah i see. So, do you guys do senior week?" I asked as i lifted my cup of hot tea. "Oh yea, but i'm not really sure what that is." Leah scratched her head. "Whaaaat? you don't know what senior week is?" I said, mocking her. "Oh haha, just explain what it is to me." Leah folded her arms. "Alright, well basically after you graduate, all the seniors go to like maybe Atlantic City or something, and they get hotels to have fun in and sleep. It's like a weekend trip for seniors." I said, smiling as i remember the days i had went to senior week.

"Sounds pretty awesome to me. Awww man i can't wait to go! Babe, you gotta come with me.Nothing's fun without you, you know it is with all my friends, i don't wanna be around them without my fiance." Leah said, kissing my forehead. "i don't know, thats more like a senior thing babes." i smiled. "Pleaseee please please." Leah begged. "Gosh okay. i guess i'll go. We still need to go dress shopping, prom is tomorrow night." i said, getting up. Leah grabbed my keys and followed behind me.

*The Night Of Prom-7pm*

"Come on, Babe. They're waiting to see you." Leah said, stepping out the limo. Leah picked out a black suit with a baby blue tie and black dress shoes. Leah helped me out the limo as i stepped out, i felt the eyes of excitement on me. I had picked out back-view blue dress that had black diamonds along the chest and back piece and blue heels. My makeup couldn't have been more flawless, i was wearing lashes that made my eyes pop! My eyes were a beautiful hazel eyes, i was wearing blackish blue lipstick and my hair was in curls that hung down my back. " You look beautiful, babe." Leah smiled as she wrapped my arm with hers.

I smiled at her as we made our way inside the elegant building. When we stepped in, it was really fancy...marble tables, floors, and stairs, there was a giant chandelier, and the ballroom was so beautiful i was speechless. We handed in our tickets and proceeded to the ballroom where Leah's friends greeted us. "Oh my gosh!! Leah!!!! Please tell that not who i think it is?" Leah's bestfriend, Ce, yelled. "Yeah, guys, meet my fiance Mia. Mia, you know Ce and the rest." Leah introduced me. "It's nice to see you all again." I smiled warmly. Ce came up to me and looked at me, "Words can't even describe how gorgeous you look, Mia. It doesn't even look like you." I blushed red, "Oh stop, it's not that pretty. I just came to support my baby tonight. You know, it's her night and i just wanna be here to enjoy it with her."

"Adorable, you both are in the running of homecoming King and Queen?" Ce asked. "Yeah, everyone in the school except for like a handful of people wrote me down for King and Mia for Queen." Leah said, pulling my seat out. "Can they even do that? I'm not enrolled anymore." I said, taking my seat as Leah and Ce sat next to me. "Well no but they all insisted. They said, it wouldn't be right if Leah danced with another girl who isn't her fiance." Ce smiled. "Whoa, they really said that?" Leah said, surprised. "Yeah man. But why don't we grab our lovely ladies something to eat?" Ce suggested. "Great idea. I got you baby, just sit here and look beautiful." Leah stood as she kissed my hands.

A girl who was sitting across from me, had moved over to a chair beside me. "You must be Mia. Gosh, you are more beautiful in person." she smiled at me. "Oh thank you. I'm sorry but have we met?" I asked. She smiled, "Oops, im so sorry. I'm Lilly, Ce's girlfriend." Lilly was a pretty girl, she was a Blasian actually. She had mocha colored skin, blonde hair that hung down past her shoulders, light brown eyes, and was wearing a white diamond dress with sparking diamond shoes. "It's nice to meet you, Lilly. May i ask how old are you?" i said.

She giggled and said, "I'm 20, and you?" I smiled at her and said, "I'm 20 as well."
She nodded then looked at me as if she remembered something, "Hey, we go to the same college. We have the same film class and English class." As she said that, i started to remember then it popped in my head. "Oh my gosh, you are so right! I didn't know you dated Ce." I said, surprised. "Well she is the best man at Leah's wedding. I just cant wait to see the bride." She giggled. "You're sitting right next to her." I laughed. "Oh gosh. You're the bride? You're the one marrying Leah?" She said almost in a burst of excitement. "Yes!" I cheered. She hugged me and started laughing with me.

"Oh man, you are so lucky! Gosh, i wish i could be in the wedding." Lilly smiled. "You can be, I can put you as my bridesmaid. You can be the one closest to me." I said, taking a sip of water. "You'd do that? Gosh, that would be amazing! When is the wedding?" Lilly asked. "Well it's like a few days after senior week." I said. "Lovely. You going to senior week too right?" Lilly said, checking her phone. "Yeah of course." I said. Leah and Ce came back with our plates and theirs, we sat down and started bring up memories for school.

Later that night, we got on the dance floor and danced until our heels came off. It was like reliving the night when i had homecoming but this was better. I was surrounded by friends and most of all the love of my life, Leah. Tap Tap Tap. "Please clear the dance floor, we are about to announce the King and Queens." said the student body president. Leah and I took our place behind the doors where the nominated Kings and Queens were. After 5 minutes, Leah and I were the only ones standing behind the door and i was beginning to become nervous. "Relax baby, i got you." Leah said, wrapping my arm and her and holding it. "Leah and Mia!" came through the microphone. As the door opened, we stepped out and we walked to the into dance floor.

The whole room roared with excitement, when i say the whole room, i mean the whole entire room. Including the teachers and waiters..I looked into Leah's eyes and they were twinkling with love. "Now, you all have voted your Kings and Queens, now it's time to announce them." I could see Lilly across the room, crossing her fingers. "The king and queen is....Leah and Mia!!!" The room got loud and everyone started taking pictures as Leah pulled me onto the dance floor. I followed behind her as she laid one hand on my back and the other in my hand. She looked me in the eyes and smiled. "You're the best thing i've ever had..you know that..?" She whispered to me. "And you are to me.."
